Microscopic Photos of the "Biofilm"

You saw in the "raw" Morgellons photo where these 'hair-like' tentacles reached out and touched this part in the culture dish. This part is what the "biofilm" looks like in its infancy. The "raw" Morgellons has impregnated the biofilm with the specks.

This is most fascinating, this black/brown circular (coccus) growth looks like it has concentric circles drawn in sand by your finger. As if you took a protractor or compass finger and make perfect circles starting in the center and moving outward.

Even though you can't tell from this photo how many black specks are contained inside this culture, look at the photo above at just a small section of it, to get an idea. There are thousands and thousands of black specks contained inside this one culture.

(I had to pull back and therefore a smaller photo - to get the full effect of what this culture looked like.)

"The Biofilm"

I followed the 'accidental' human hair in the petri dish along the line of it with the microscope and noticed right away that the biofilm is starting to surround the hair.

Here is where it gets a little murky, it is near the what I have called the "Bacillus subtilis" looking culture:

"The Wheel Biofilm"

I believe I am seeing more than one biofilm involved. The first one I described as 'concentric circles drawn in sand by a finger'?... and the second one is the 'lava lamp' goo type. And, I'm not sure where the 'lava lamp goo' came from, or how these two correlate, yet?

Here are some photos of the strangeness of the first one mentioned, I'll call it the 'circular biofilm' for now, I wanted to pull back and shoot it with a lesser lens, but ran out of time. Remember, it had the white, circular hairy culture that was reaching out for it.

Here's a link to the spores of arthrobotrys - compare to your picture of streptococcus
(I don't think it's streptococcus)

Kammy, What am I looking at with the concentric circles? Is that the entire petri dish with grooves in it?
