Lest these small treasures become forgotten I have attempted to gather into one post links to most of Whathehelminth’s morgellons photos. I would like to briefly introduce Whatthehelminth (WTH) to newbies. She is a warm and witty lady, feisty as all get out too. Due to a recent stroke she has not been able to post lately on this new site. I just started thinking about her today. I don’t want us to forget WTH. She only made a hundred posts here. A hundred! It is hard for me to believe that, as somehow she manages in these few posts and in those even fewer pms that she and I made to each other to project herself to me in a large way. After I was done reading most of her posts today, I realized that she may not have posted very much on MDR but what she did post often mattered. She has given a lot to the study of morgellons, to observing and trying to understand these frustrating parasites. She has often offered words of solace to those who did not feel well and were feeling particularly vulnerable. She took a lot of interesting and artistic photos using her very inexpensive equipment. I hope she will be able to read this. I am chiding myself because I realize I have allowed too many weeks to pass since last trying to contact her. Mostly I am posting links which have photos, but if you would like to get a sense of WTH read all her posts. Her quirky sense of humor and fun shine in spite of the pain she endures along with the disbelief of her doctor. Still she never seems to have become embittered, although sometimes as we all do she seems to feel tired of carrying the heavy burden of morgellons alone.

“Hi So sorry you have this too.Hope you find relief and get better real soon
I've found that these things I have turn to mush in water. Found a way to get them to wiggle though.........I discovered this by accident when I coughed one up in the sink.
Take hot tap water from the faucet, not boiling water , just good & hot. Pour a little bit on the end of their tail. These that I cough up sure wiggle. I have never seen them move other than this way.good luck and stay tough! wth”

When my kitties were born (they turn 2 next mo)
I vowed to never raise my voice to them and try to keep them from mean people,
as I've been in several abusive relationships.
Well, these darn &*'s have pushed me to the limit and I've broken my promise and yelled at them several times. Just wanted to relate how grumpy I can get and sure enjoy everyone here. We all have bad days.........and.........we get extra bad ones!
Don't beat yourself up. wth

I can't handle much more of this! I've been filling out papers the last several weeks and have noticed a single black speck occationally on my hand or fingers. I assumed it was ink as I tryed scrapeing and scrubbing them and they didnt come off. This morning I put on latex gloves to perform my highly important job.(professional feline sandbox poop scooper)and noticed a speck on the new gloves. I could see it was a foreign object as it was raised. Dang, it stuck like cement on the glove! Finally the dishsoap took it off and I got it under the scope. (what is left of it after the soaping)The round things in 2nd photo are not air bubbles, they are fibers.
These pictures show the entire thing if put side by side.

10/13/07 New Bugs? (2 photos and post):
Here is another pic of a design I see often. What is this, I dont have a clue? Also a pic of these darn fiber things. I just hate em. I sure appreciate reminders to have continued faith in a cure real soon for this. After going back over the cat/rat connection, I do believe that these mfs* have an influence on my thought process, BIG TIME. Scary....I am so grateful to have people to talk to about this and send well wishes to all. Thank you soooooo much! kritters.......forget it. I wouldnt give these mfs* to anyone. You will have to have chocolate bar like everyone else. (does anyone else buy 3 bags of candy, knowing they will only have 1 or 2 tricker treaters?) ??? wth mfs*= mutant fiends
10/13/07 New Bugs?
I think I'm getting a little clearer pictures now since finding some off-white Christmas tree bulbs at the dollar store. They don't have so much glare.
They sure are scary! I meant to ask if anyone has seem similar to the other photos? I have been seeing alot of cell-like forms like this:

I hope you are having a good day. kritters.......... get your big trick or treat bag ready cause these mfs* are waiting for you! luv u all, wth mfs*= masked fakers
10/13/07 New Bugs?
New Bugs/These are parasites that have recently "formed"? "come to my attention"? i dont know where they came from........sure sick of them though. Seems like they get more aggressive with each new shape! I am afraid to touch them now. Although my finger nails are very short, they invade each tiny spot left. I tryed useing rubber gloves to pick at them and they bite holes right through the fingers in seconds!!!!!! Its unreal...........
The first pic is not magnified.....this is what they look like on the kitchen counter. They look like a piece of wire. Was hoping that was all they were.........but then.......they got the wiggly worm wiggle... go straight and then curl up........

dabugs (Lots of photos)
“dabugsThanks so much LC & Kritters! Sorry for the delay, my PC is older and gets tired easily! Kinda like me, lol. These pics are very unprofessional. I am using an old Mavica digital camera that uses floppy discs. (perfect for old pc w/ A-drive, lol) and a kids microscope at 75x magnification with bare glass slides (no saline, stain, etc) . The light on it is broken so I have been using a nightlite on an extention cord under the slide.(the cover is a unicorn with red, yellow, white) Each time I get it out, I fasten it to the counter with duct tape to keep the light and unruly ex. cord in place.Hope it is ok to add more pics here. For some reason, if I try to pull up my picture place anywhere but first, it ends all the other programs i have running so need to reboot and start over. BRB”

Just the photos and a few of her posts. If you did not know WTH before I hope this has given you a sense of her spirit and strength of character.

Smile WTH Update

I just talked with WTH on the phone and she sounds wonderful, so cheerful and glad to hear from me as well. I was glad to hear her voice too and learn she is making a good recovery. I sent her the link to this thread so she can see how all her photos are in one place now in a single post.

If anyone wants to say hello to her here I am sure she would love to hear from you. She and the twins (the kitties) are doing well she says. Lately she has been doing a lot of cooking. She says she is a good cook, so wish I were going to her house for dinner.

Love to you WTH and I will try to keep in touch more than I have been. She has not been able to sign in on the site as it will not let her on when she tries. I told her not to worry about it for now as the site will be off line for a few days soon anyway. Maybe after that she can get a new password and be able to post again. I know she misses posting and keeping in touch with other members here.

Talk to you later.
