| Hello, I took some micro shots of my eyelash last night, which helps me understand one reason why my eyes get sore if I rub them. http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...php?albumid=18 I think I will ask a friend to donate an eyelash to compare... I hope someone figures this out QUICK because Morgs is bringing out the geek in me ![]() BIG TIME aaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhJo xxx |

| Jo, I can see the little baby fibers coming out of my hair too. At first I thought it was something that clung to my hair from an external source (dust or lint in the wind?) Next time I visit with Clifford I will try to find the time to pull out my lap-top and show him the incredible photos members have posted on this forum. In the white light, ~jonsi

| Joey, How freaky. It's like we are invaded by aliens. I'm wondering at this point if it's really an eyelash now, or a fungi that took over the eyelash dna, like the hair on my forearms. I don't believe that is hair anymore. You know, I was thinking about the viruses and how it is currently debated whether or not they are alive (obviously they are...wake up scientists) because they basically take over dna from a cell in order to exist. Well, to my way of limited thinking, if something can have the ability to TAKE OVER dna from a cell, it is alive. So, maybe this is viral/fungal and has taken over the dna of our hair. With all the research being done with hair (such as the example 2many gave of the hairy cactus...which freaked me out so much I had to close my computer and call it a night) as well as most likely growing hair on people to make money on that necessity, as well as growing silk utilizing bacteria as the apparatus. But your photos are amazing. Do you think there is any way a hair mite could be implicated? xoxo Kritts |

| Hi ya Kritts, Jonsi Ya know, I dont know about hair mites - I've not found any anywhere. I'm working on pulling some evidence together that backs up a theory that the amber goo can make arthropods. If anyone else is working on this and can help me, please pm me, thanks. I was wondering how to store my slide samples and realised that audio cassette cases work pretty good - never thought they'd come in handy again. Joey xxx |

| Hi there, I've had an interesting email from a Microbiology hobbyist about my eye lash photos I sent him: "I took at look at the eyelash pics. This is the sort of thing I am seeing too. Have you checked scalp dander? I am convinced this is a parasitic plant form, which must be coming from a bacteria plasmid. They tend to grow like a branch, with little joints, and the occasional tiny growth off the main body. Be nice to check and see the protein make up. Do you think cellulose is possible? " Is he spot on, or what!!? I mentioned in my reply that analysis of the clear fibers done by Mark Darrah at Stony Brook read on the raman graphs as cellulose. It's really got me thinking because I've had major hair follicle and white particle issues, ever since I became infected 7 years ago. Years before I saw any fibers. Are the white particles holding the bacterial plasmids that the fibers grow from?? It's got legs. I also mentioned that some Morgs had tested positive for Staph aur on their scalps. So, to prove the theory, he suggested getting a culture of the staph done, and running a PCR on it, to hopefully find the plasmid. I'm gonna try to find help to do this. If anyone's got any more thoughts, shout! Here's some basics about plasmids: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasmid This article mentions Staph aur, Bacillus sub and a lot more bacterias and their RC plasmids. The pfds about the mechanism most plasmids use to replicate Rolling-Circle (RC) Mechanism: "RC plasmids were originally discovered in Staphylococcus aureus and have now been described in a large number of other gram-positive bacteria such as Bacillus subtilis, Clostridium butyricum, Brevibacterium lactofermentum, Streptococcus agalactiae, Lactococcus lactis, Leuconostoc lactis, and Streptomyces.... | Hey Jo, Plasmids did it for me. I think I'm going to beg out of this research, or at least keep any to myself from here on in. This is WAY over my head. All of it is. You're the best and I look forward to reading what you and some others are offering here. xoxo Kritts |

| Hey no worries Kritts, you've got other research to major on, including your polls to manage etc. I'll keep truckin. One thing I realised yesterday is that the stuff spreading inside my eyelash is white not amber as I'd previously thought. Here's to everyone working on answers right now, cheers Jo xxx |

| Jo, In that picture from Wiki showing a plasmid, the circles...I have seen so much of that in my samples....but I thought and still think probably that the circles I've seen are drops of water showing a thick black border. do you have any idea what I'm talking about? xo Kritts |
| |||
| Yo Kritts, I know what you mean - think youre right re bubbles. I think the plasmids are hidden within the bacterium, down one end of the rod. Must be pretty small. Didnt realise you didnt have a scope right now - no worries. Joey xxx |
