Hi dragonfly,

My toe nails have white stuff growing in under the nails. Two of my nails are almost round, like a cats claw. I've found that when I go after them vigorously my symptoms start to reappear on other parts of my body.

I'll have to charge up my daughters camera and take some pics and download them. give me some time, I'm just learning all of this technical stuff. Who would have "thunk it"?!

What are you using to relieve you symptoms? Have you found anything that helps? We are here to help you in any way we can. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

In the white light,
~jonsi

Dragonfly,

I guess that's what my hangnail thing is, too. I used to get them occasionally...like every few years or so. Now I get them frequently and they hurt like a bugger. Almost like I'm cutting into my body core when I cut them.

Yes they start with a few black specks then the corners of your nails split open then they grow-move all the way around your cuticle then down the finger itself.........

Hi everyone, hope all is well. I had looked at Dragonfly's pictures and the "white scars" and they looked all too familiar.

Dragonfly, I am curious as to where you live, like at least what region of the US, or another country. I know you said you were involved in a study in Florida.

I visited Florida twice the year this started, in August of 2005, and generally visited at least once a year for the previous 8-10 years.

The scars in your pictures are for the most part identical to mine. They could be the same person.

Hope no one minds that I am posting this link to these pictures that I had taken on May 22nd, but I want to point out the likeness's of Dragonfly's lesions and my own.

Niecy,
Your scars look like something is traveling under your skin! I know this is basic, but have you soaked in hot baths with eco-vie and salt? That's the only think that has helped any of my lesions. You have them so much worse, but I was just wondering. Sorry I don't remember from your previous post.
