Hi Jo,

I have had the exact same thing to a T. I also used a woods lamp after a shower one night. I had washed my hair I think with a peppermint rosemary based shampoo that night. When I shined the woods lamp about 15 minutes after my shower I could see the fungus like balls coming out and also fiber like string things that I could tell were coming from my hair follicles because when I went to rub them off they were not just on the surface but inside my scalp. I have had the exact same type of fiber looking things all over my house on my desk you name it. I have seen these wrapped around my hair under the microscope below the surface and above. I have a photo of one where I have a clear fiber coiled around my hair in the middle and at the end I pulled out a blue fiber. Unfortunately I could not get a good photo showing color because I am still trying to figure out how to take a picture through the scope with the specimen lit from above without having it close the aperture I think not sure I am kind of camera illiterate. So the picture I have does not show the color that I could clearly see when top lit versus bottom lit. I just shaved my head again because every time it starts to grow back these fibers make it mat at the base especially on the back of my head behind my ears. I was thinking tinea capitis but now I am wondering about a Cyanobacteria of some sort or Lichen. It also reminds me of Bacillius subtilis video from Lyme busters. Let me know what your thoughts are. If you know what I need to adjust on the camera please let me know.

Thats interesting because I started black light experimenting yesterday! I might have overdone it on ebay, as the tubes 24". Thinking of setting up a night club now.

I'll think about your camera issue - Steve, any thoughts?? Is it a digital SLR camera? You might be able to switch it to manual to stop it closing depending on the make etc? Guessing here

Shouldnt look directly at the UV, which is hard not to in the mirror etc. I tried wearing sunglasses, but was a big health and safety issue in the dark!!

I'm just working out the clothes they cling to the most. Also I want to UV my friends to see what they look like.

Thought about turning on the hoover in the dark to see what stuff comes out the vents. Not healthy to get carried away with this though!! Chickened out!

You are having a tough time with your hair/scalp Hibiscrubs great for cleaning follicles. Also, how about that shampoo that Seasprite mentioned?? Sounded good.

Bacillus licheniformis, subtilis, Cyanobacterium - I keep finding the same rod shaped 'something' under my scope.

Hi Jo,

Yes I have used that one. The Aloe one they make is good as well. I think my real problem here is the animals have this too. Try keeping two cats and a dog clean and keep their hair which is basically a dust transporter clean. I am hoping to make an appointment for them to rule out ringworm. Then if they show positive it is much easier to go to a dermatologist with ammo because when I mentioned this to my general doctor he looked atme like that doesn't happen in the OC people don't get Tinea Capitis. I swear to god you would have thought I suggested something that has never existed in the United States just like how they respond to people having parasites. The animals do not have obvious signs as far as no round patches of hair missing that I know of other then the Himalayan whom I think sheds more then normal and whose paws did show something under the woods lamp but my family thinks I am crazy I guess. The dog smells like something is not right but hey no missing hair so he must be ok. Right........... The same fungus that causes Tinea Veriscolor can cause folleculitis of the scalp and dandruff which dogs can carry but hey they are fine. Here I am shaving my head when the fricken cat is the one that probably needs shaved and medicated lol. Their breed is prone to ringworm fungus which causes Tinea Capitis amoung other things. So if anyone knows of a dermatophyte that has blue fibers and sometimes red please let me know asap. The blue are more frequent then the red and appear larger as well. Dont know if that means anything. Maybe mutant worms . As far as the wood's lamp well I see more then one color. Kind of a purple in hair and face as well as what I think is a pale green Hmmm Dermatopyhte. Then there is the flourscent orange which can be a proteobacteria. Hey I clean as much as I can around here but 3 animals and two that go outdoors I am doomed. I was thinking of buying one of those Roomba vacuums. Does anyone have one and actually like it? . The kick up from the regular vacuum makes me wonder if something cruising along would cause less of this . One more question Has anyone tried one of those air cleaners that incinerates the bacteria and fungus? I do not mean the UV C I have those and they really don't do much as far as I am concerned. At this point I am hopeless and frustrated and do not see myself ever having a full head of hair again when just 1 1/2 ago I had long healthy hair. I am sorry for ranting but I am at the end of my rope. Oh I would like to stop getting the ugly lesions on the side of my face every time I do laundry or clean as well.

Once we kick this thing into touch I think and hope our hair will live again to be healthy and long. I just found some shots of Tinea Capitis under UV and more. Dont know if its gonna help.

I everyone, I am having good results finnaly on the opaline and doing the epsom salt baths. The nights I don't take the bath I use a big bottle and put about a cup of epsom salt and hot water, by the time I am ready to shower, I rinse with the epsom salt I just pour it over my head, then let it sit for a few min, then rinse off and take my eco vie bath. My hair follicles are starting to turn back to normal very slowely. There are parts of my head that really hurt bad. Last night I had to go to the bathroom, nice time middle of the night and there were red things and lots of strange objects. I always clean out my rectum with a enema just using a little to clean the lower bowel area. That is when I expel this junk. Don't really like to share such yucky things to people, although I believe we all need to learn from each other. Good luck, I still believe in the eco vie for the animals. Aloha unclear

I'm glad to hear everything you and everyone else shares. About the enemas....

I will add to my other post regarding the immune system in a bit because you reminded me of this:

My naturopathic doc is big on oxygen therapy (which I haven't done yet) and the hydrogen peroxide and oxygen colon cleanse (which I have) I think this makes total sense..(kill the critters with peroxide in the blood, then move them out through the colon)...but along with the parasite cleansing mediums of choice. He suggests the H202 every 6 weeks, but I'm not doing that just yet. He also wanted me to do the colon thingie several more times, but it was like giving birth again, for me very painful. I think because my problems are there big time. There's a reason for the expression among naturopaths that death begins in the colon. If people don't eat the proper amount of roughage and stay away from fatty gross foods and red meat, the colon builds up toxins, and accumulated debris which blocks nutrition from entering the body. That's why enemas and esp. full colon cleansing is so good for you. But I can't bear it. I'm taking oxygenated cleansing tablets and they help keep things moving pretty well. but none of this rids the body of parasites...just keeps busloads of them moving out, which is a good thing.
