I am so stupid sometimes. Back when I first got this all I knew is that I was being eaten alive by invisible bugs. The fiber stage never hit so I just dismissed that aspect. Now, all I know is that there are fibers coming off of me all the time and my dashboard and PC screen always have blue and red filaments.

I am also concerned about the boys' hair. They too have white straw hairs and when I brush their hair, there are these knots that after combed through, fibers fly out so to speak and the hair is sort of kinked and electric!! The have pin straight hair and it looks all kinky and curly.

Anyway, I have an interesting link. The a/c guy came today and we discussed the sick building syndrome. After googling, I found a very interesting link. It is very similiar to what many have been experiencing here at my complex and I am positive it is related to what we are going through. I never heard of this before...like I said, stupid

Thanks Melissa - it could explain the environmental exposure in our homes and Gulf war exposure through bio-warfare. Wonder if the blue and pink fibers are linkable...

First of all Melissa~ stop saying you are stupid, k? You're obviously very intelligent.

I posted around a month or two ago my thoughts about there being a connection, at least with me, regarding fungus/mold. I have, by observation, the sick house syndrome. I haven't had an expert yet...dragging my heels because I already know I have the problem and am beginning an anti-fungal treatment soon. Dragging my heels on that because I'm feeling better, even though I know it's still in my body and I'm trying to find the best treatment.

Every thing I have taken from my body and the bathroom has the red/blue fibers and sometimes other colors, like turquoise. I found one
'egg' on the bathroom floor (which I clean obsessively) which under the scope showed tons of red and blue fibers stuffed into the egg, which really freaked me out. I didn't realize it was an egg until I read more about fungus, etc. Funny isn't it how people generally don't even think of fungus/mold as being parasitic? (in fact it isn't until it's in your body...according to my reading.) I know I'm repeating myself, but all this seems to have been forgotten from my other posts.

So, reason I'm bringing this up again is that now I'm wondering, with your post, Melissa, if the red and blue fibers are intended to hook up with fungus, which is ubiquitous in our environment in order to do its thing.

I so look forward to what resources Erin Brockovitch conjures to figure this thing out.

The tears roll down my cheeks as I read your posts and realize that we have this uncomfortable connection...I love you guys even if I wish it wasn't so!!

A bunch of my friends have complained about strange knots at the base of their neck in S FL. I never had this problem until I moved here. My very anal retentive nurse buddy told me that she had an unusual itch/knot issue and she bought tar soap which reminds her of the smell of my condo!!! Enough to put me over the edge, but my skin is thicker and thicker these days.

Anyway, the top BOD member who is getting her phd in pharmacology at NOVA U was hospitalized TWICE for food staph aureus!! She was hospitalized for a month with IV antibiotics. She was running her mouth today and we were sharing and I know that there is a mold/morgellons issue. I will sue the heck out of the developer who sold these units for 250k with radon and mold!! Now that I'm not so sick and only weird from the experience, I can handle T-2 and the lawyers. We will beat this. I believe in all of us.

I am a bit "stupid" when I want to only look at the good such as my 5 y/o with disseminated borreliosis scoring all 4 soccer goals and playing 2 games and running fo r2 hours. We won because of him. He's my pipsqueak and look. God has big plans for our lives even with Morgellons. We will be poster children for healthy living with Morgellons.

Last year this time I was so alone and ready to curl up and go to sleep forever. My daughter was the reason to live when I was about ready to give up.

Then Gene from Oregon turned me on to this site and I found all of you here. Soon after my daughter started showing early signs of Morgellons. That was when I knew I would have to face this head-on and fight! If not for me, for her!

My tears are flowing down my face as we share our stories about our children and grandbabies. It's not fair! They should have a childhood free of worry and lesions and creepy hair.

All of the pictures under this thread look all too familiar. We have come so far with the help, sympathy and support provided here.

A big thank-you to everyone here from me and Natalie!
