Safrey, can you see these with the naked eye? What's the magnification on the photos?

I've seen something similar to the 3rd photo I retrieved from my skin. Hardly visible to the naked eye. Only visible as a black spec with magnifying mirror and then visible as black worm-like threads at 30x mag. Thank you for posting your photos. It's nice, I guess(?), to have something to compare to.

What are you doing for your condition? Have you tried any of the treatment steps listed on the Morgellons Treatment board?

I do wish you well and hope you recover from this nightmare!

Linda P.

Hi Linda,
My story is a long one going back 12 years. Of course everyone thought I was just crazy when this all started and I talked of seeing fibers in my skin. It was only a few days ago that I began looking on the internet again for anyone who might have what I had. I was, and still am in shock about what all that I am finding now, finally! The past few days have been a real struggle for me after confirming that what I've been suffering from all these years really is a mysterious, bizarre, incurible disease. Anyway Linda I will be posting my story on the message board some time tonight, it's going to be a long one because I think it's important to share every little detail about this disease in the hopes of learning more about it.

Thanks for the Pictures very interesting. How impeded are the parasites into the skin? Did you have to dig them out? Kentucky haze does your pet lose any fur from the sores or are they covered?

My dig had some sores that looked like a blister...the vet said it was a staph infection that dogs naturally have in their system??? which didn't make a lot of sense to me, but he had me put some drops on it, and also in his ear which was bothering him, that he said was either yeast or fungus, heck I can't remember anything...anyway, he had me use the same drops on both..which was odd...because I thought that staph was bacteria...anyway, he had a sore or blister on his belly, which did not have much hair, and then there were actually 2 more that were under his fur that I didn't even notice til I brought him on and the doctor found them...the drops cleared it right up...but not the ear...it seems to have an unusual amount of wax in it...don't know if it has mites or not...when they looked at him a couple of months ago, there weren't any, supposedly, but I am trying the drops again...and if it doesn't help this time , I guess I will have to bring him back, and I cannot afford to do that...more stress...there is something to these mats like in the fuzzballs, and they think I am flipping crazy already because I kept having them check him out...and they found nothing...but something is there...and his skin is severely dried out...almost like a suntan peeling away, on his belly...weird...i've rattled again...sorry

The medicine that cleared up hid sores is Mometamax-15g(applying a few drops each day...it is Gentamicin sulfate and mometasone furoate monohydrate and clotrimazole, in case you wondered/If I try to comb through these mats, the mat and hair has to be combed and pulled out before you can comb through it...it seems tightly woven, like it was weaved....and I believe it was...dododododo...twilight zone music there...ha...

These pics are of a biopsy of skin taken from my hand immediatly above the wrist dirrectly opposite the thumb, you could say the extreme lower right if looking at the left hand. Right at the fold in the skin between the hand and wrist. I find that these things seem to like the thick skin areas, like the base of the fingers in the palm, the area betwen the thumb and index finger, both top and bottom sides of the knuckles, etc. Using a serrated knife, I'll scrape the surface of the skin, keeping the blade flat to the skin so as not to dig in too deep. During this procedure I can literally feel a sort of tugging or pulling sensation in or under the skin, with this sensation I can pinpoint exactly where the fiberlike object is and which way it's heading. I can take a biopsy like this one with not drawing any blood so I don't think they're very deep.
