Default Peroxide, keratin and collagen fibers

The photo below shows my forearm (my elbow which is bent is at the bottom) after applying a few drops of peroxide. The streaks and redness are where the peroxide ran down my arm before it dried. What looks like "dirt" on my forearm is actually the coating of keratin that would build up on my skin every couple of hours in between saturating it with peroxide. I noted several people here have discussed their skin being "sticky" - keratins and collagens have been used for thousands of years to make "hide" glue (which is why horses were said to be ready for the glue factory). Gelatin (like jello) is made from boiling collagen (not trying to turn anyone against jello). The lines or "wrinkles" in the skin on my forearm are the Langer's lines that were pulling in my skin. The diagram below is of Langer's Lines (collagen fibers) in human skin - note that the pattern of the fibers in the forearm on the diagram is very similar to the patterns in my skin.

wow 2many. i get a biofilm, but kinda different. but what you say makes sense. i have retained dye from clothing or just get plain crawly. have you ever tried palmolive oxy plus dishsoap? seems to cut the film , and most reports kills the crap out of the stuff of morgellons disease. the soap is oxygenated, how does this realate to keratin? thanks, (LC).

Hey LC - I did try the palmolive oxy - however it didn't seem to have any effect on the keratin. It did make me squeaky clean though . I would guess that the oxygen in palmolive is different for the peroxide (peroxide is 2 parts Hydrogen and 2 parts oxygen - H2O2). I'm not sure what the oxygen in the palmolive is chemically and it may not be as concentrated as it is in peroxide. Initially I tried everything I had in the house and garage to try to dissolve this film of keratin on my skin including tilex, bathroom cleaners, degreasers, ammonia - even mineral spirits and liquid naptha which is a dry cleaning solvent (which the FELS naptha soap used to contain in years past). I eventually found out from the internet that peroxide would dissolve keratin and as soon as it touched my skin, I got some relief. My skin was basically "too tight" from the collagen fibers pulling and the keratin that forms in skin naturally kind of "glued" the fibers down (which I had a severe excess of both collagens and keratins). The peroxide dissolved the keratin on the surface of my skin and exposed some of the fibers and allowed them to move in the skin which temporarily relieved the tension. Repeatedly doing this exposed more fibers and allowed more to move over the course of my condition. Keratin forms a natural protective barrier in skin to keep the tissue from absorbing water and most chemicals. The peroxide has never made my skin dry despite saturating my entire body 7 or 8 times a day for well over 2 years. This verifies (at least to me) that my body simply had an extreme excess of keratins because it has been constantly replaced in my skin over this period of time. I don't think "normal" skin could tolerate using peroxide so much without some adverse side effects like dryness or irritation. And it has never really bleached my hair either, which I would have expected it to do.

well 2many, we each find what works best for us. i guess my biggest question is, got any cheap links to get the peroxide? the dang dollar store here just has little bottles, annoying and bulky just to get a baths worth, (LC).

I have somewhat of a funny story about the peroxide LC. I have several walmarts near my house but I buy the peroxide mainly from 2 of them. All the stores had a quart of peroxide for 92 cents when I first started buying it. Within a few weeks of me starting to buy it (about 10 quarts a week for more than 2 years) the 2 stores I used mostly dropped the price to 87 cents a bottle. A couple of other stores that I rarely bought any at raised the price to 96 cents a quart. I saw it as kind of anecdotal evidence that if Walmart does enough volume of a product they will lower their prices in those particular stores. It would appear that I bought enough peroxide at those 2 stores that Walmart brought out the little smiley saying it was cutting prices on the peroxide .

So I guess the bottom line is that Walmart is the cheapest place I've found to buy peroxide - 87 cents a quart or 96 cents a quart depending on how much they sell apparently.

i believe that about the walmart thing, man you should see the looks i get when i go into family dollar, with the 6-8 bottles i buy . i have a walmart but a good stroll near here (i have no car here) the only thing i hate, is to have a decent bath is the stuff is heavy, especially the salt. . kind of pathetic the side of my house has three shopping carts by it, like a baglady. well, i am posting something i just found from article on morgellons disease, and GUESS WHAT YOU ARE RIGHT KERATINS COULD BE INVOLVED . see, i like your approach it has always made sense to me 2many, there is truth in your words. read article in full version, it is coprighted so i cannot cut and paste , but here can read article in full: http://www.morgellons.org/AJCDerm1.pdf . take note on page 4 where says " in a classic study, identified fibers composed of a cellulose-protien complex as a minor constiuent of mammilian connective tissue" so indeed something very hard, like in our bodies like you say. i think this disease does use stuff from our bodies and also exploits the defense mechanisms of our bodies, (LC). i also wanted to tell you been doing the flaxseed oil, i have capsules but bite them open and throw gel caps away. had a report from one member taking gummi vitamins made her symtoms WORSE, might be why. the only gel caps take into body in one antibiotic that is it. so yep, i do listen.

just musing here.....

could be a failed experiment on bio-crobes designed to grow hair. The hair (Einstein hair) I had growing on my arms seemed to try to mimick real hair. I read that candida, a fungus attacks air follicles.

Look out rogain.

if was "made" then would most likely be the engineered nematode for cotton pest control, which also makes fibers to kill the insect host. target is a moth larvae feeds on cotton. once read super scary article said these pests prey on cotton so well adapted to poison, that when india sprayed more poison on them, they started to bite the workers hands, went into the nearby village, bit people killed one baby by burrowing into its stomach. so poison has mutated insects to behave abnormally, and these new bio pesticides being made no one even thinks of the consequences. i DO sometimes see this disease as a bit fat allergic reaction. however, if read that article i hyperlinked, when decribe accounts from 1642, souns EERRILY like what we have. (and where the name came from) it is aptly named. could have been around a long time for all we know, not supposed to hurt man, but compromised immune systems could open the door to it. think back then, the kids playing in the dirt, yucky water and farming fields..............hmmm. i know some in here say have strong immune system, but something is VERY wrong to let a whale of a disease like this in. in other words a slot machine that jackpots alot may seem good to the customer but BAD to the casino if you get my meaning. created? been around? a little of BOTH? (LC).

Lots of things are being bio-engineered besides cotton. The fibers coming out of people are fairly translucent and composed probably of keratin/collagen/elastin. At least, under my scope, that's what mine are and another poster here.

I was musing, but we can't exclude any possibilities. Fungus could also be attempting to incorporate itself with our hair. As I said, Candida effects hair follicles. After doing the research I have about parasites of all kinds, there seems to be many similarities in their modus operandi and many symptoms manifested in people are similar as well.

I'm sure what is going on is different with everyone, and because of the internet many people are associating with morgellons in their own way, even though we have different things going on. Some may just have a parasite. Others who have bugs in them are in a whole 'nuther ballgame.

I just met a microbiologist the other day who has heard of morgellons. Saw it on the news in California. He told me it's common knowledge that many 'experiments' gone bad are unaccounted for, in a manner of speaking. Not to mention the animal rights overzealous people who break into labs and free the animals. Problem is, those animals have diseases that will spread and altered dna which will spread as well. There are a multitude of designer experiments going on.

I think we're looking at a whole complex and diverse realm of things going on and it's just a matter of putting it all together.

Which WILL happen.

I'll be posting my situation in a few days after I put it all together. I have one more visit with MD and Naturopath before I compile, but already know I have two parasites in my intestines. Still waiting for fungus test results. Bad news is that I had to ask these guys for a stool test for parasites and fungus. That should have been the first thing they would have ordered.

I wonder how many of you out there have actually had a parasite cleanse?
