Default Pics of my scarface

This lesion is over a year and a half old and still going strong. It keeps moving and when it moves, it leaves behind waisting and nasty scarring. It is mostly closed now, but is STILL THERE. Just thought I would share and see if anyone has had similar lesions. This one is about to do me in. I used to be pretty, now...well, see for yourself.

Scar
I can TOTALLY relate. Mine have been very similar. I had several LARGE ones a year ago. They were HORRID and so big- the size of pennys and so close that I could not even band-aid without hitting another one. They mostly healed skin over them and then left tracks in the skin and tunneled and made new sores and now I have small sores that are smaller and open up where they intersect or end. Now they could almost be mistaken for acne. I noticed yours also seem to have a V shape as many of mine have.
Lamisil seems to do something to them and I have been scrubbing stuff out and applying lamisil. It is the best it has been. But, i am also doin A LOT of herbals and gargling with peroxide and holding it in my mouth hoping to attack them from the back and force them out.
I do know the frustration and how it feels. But, just today I was with my sister and her boyfriend. They were at a wedding yesterday wih a guy who was SEVERELY burned in Iraq. He lost most of his fingers and his face was severely-UNBELIEVABLY disfigured. He was never expected to live. He has been featured on Oprah. He has a great attitude about life. I am like you. It bothers me not to have clear skin like I have had all my life and to have sores that will not heal. But, I have to realize that I cannot let this ruin my life. Ever day that i let this make me depressed and sad is one day of life I have lost. And, if someone is going to judge me by the way i look, screw them . I just have to keep telling myself that and be determined to take care of my life and my body the best I can so my body can fight whatever is making these sores. The sores are getting better- fingers crossed (I worry that they are not moving in or going to another part of my body to do damage). But, I know I have waged war on them, and that I can feel good about.
I have gotten very creative with make-up.......
Hang in there

Hi Linda, thanks so much for responding to my pics. That was so hard to do! I was crying the whole time. I just want to get the info out and you rarely see the actual lesions in pics...just what comes out of them.

I have had some of the most disgusting, ridiculous and absolutely unbelievable things come out of this lesion. No one would ever believe me. I am not going to be ruled as crazy...at least they can see what damage it has done! "They" just don't know what it is. Gee, why even bother anymore? I have been to everything from GP to Plastic surgeon and they keep sending me to another doctor. I have NOT been called crazy yet, they can see what this is doing to my face and the inside of my mouth! They just don't know what to do about it. Blah

This is not my first lesion, it's just the worst and it has totally disfigured my face. It was active for almost 18 months and for the past month or so, it covered itself and is sinking in. I am beside myself!

I have looked on the web for anything that this could be and can't find anything that remotely resembles my lesion and what I have tweezered out of it. I would stand in amazement with my findings and no, I am not nuts!

Can you tell from my pics how it moved from near my nostril to near my chin now? I hope so. It's migrating for goodness sake! God help us. It's raised around the edge of the active part always. Volcano-ish.

Now, the white things inside I can't get. The thick covering is even worse than before, on the active area.

What is with the indentation or wasting of the fatty tissue in my cheek? Is it eating me alive?

I am down to 100 lbs now and am 5 foot 8. I eat, but I never gain any weight. I CRAVE chocolate which I know is bad, but I can't stand it at times.

Sorry for rambling, I am just about ready to GIVE UP! I must not be a very strong person. Always thought I was, but this has me so messed up. I think about it 24/7.

Hi SF, (sorry, it makes me so sad to use your handle.)

I know this is so devastiing while it is happening. From my study and understanding of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) it sounds as if this could currently be in the spleen (this stuff moves around to different organs IMO). The reason I say this is because you are craving chocolate. The sweet flavor cravings could indicate that the spleen (which includes the pancreas) may be involved at this time with your symptoms. Also losing weight, I think perhaps indicates a problem in the spleen organ system in the TCM viewpoint. Especially if your appetite is diminished.

Which is why I feel it is important to realize that the lesions and skin symptoms are most likely just part of the problem and that morgellons is in all probability a systemic problem.

Here is a post where I discuss what I have used on my face lesions:

http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...sg8889#msg8889

I think Chester (Nancy) has posts about using baking soda and colloidal silver (I think that is what she said). Maybe she will post here with some references of her old posts or else you could do a search for her old posts. Others are also using other natural substances for lesions. A search should bring up other suggestions.

Whatever you do will probably do better and do so more quickly if you get some sort of treatment internally, either with some sort of Western medicine or herbal medicine, hopefully with some help from a practitioner who is knowledgeable and sympathetic. Bubba might have suggestions as to how to handle doctors, as she has some experience in this area. She may also know of some who treat morgellons in your area, so pm her as I think she tries to help all whenever she can.

Know that you have many fellow travellers and that all have at some point been frightened of this outbreak. Remember this is just a phase though, and you will become stronger over time. It is just such a shock at first, but then you pick yourself up and go on.

I wish you all the best,

SF'
Have you had any dental work done or do you have any dental problems?
Also, if this is inside of your mouth, 2 of the most effective things we have found her have been salt and peroxide. I would start swishing alternately with both if you have the sore on the inside of your mouth. They both seem to be a very strong antiseptic and seem to be able to penetrate the skin.
I know about the hollowed out area. I have an area like that at my jawline. It bothers me too. It is as if they have eaten away tissue. I am going to use collagen when i have chased them all out. I have them on the run. Trust me- it has gotten better for me. I had a lady ask me if I had been attacked by a dog last year................I'm sure now they think I just have bad skin. Funny, but I do consider that an improvement- because it is. Build up your body. I know this can get to you. They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I think i will get a little hercules tattoo somewhere hidden.......................

I am so sorry that you have had to endure this for so long!
I am glad that it is starting to heal. I wondered too, if you had been to the dentist?
I dont think this is caused by the dentist but I have always had something major done at the dentist right before I had problems. Like it activated something. ???

Hi everyone and thanks for all the encouragement and information.

I had not been to the dentist (shame on me), but don't have any dental problems that I am aware of. I do have some fillings from years ago and I have wondered about that.

This lesion started up near the side of my nose. Kind of like a huge pimple that itched, but never did anything except grow. Finally, it sunk in in the center and was open with white things inside (sorry to be so graphic). At first, I couldn't get to the white things, but eventually I was able to start pulling them out, if they didn't retract like they were running from me.

When I would think that I had it whipped, it would just slowly spread down and form a brand new lesion. At times this lesion was so sore, so open, so gross that I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror. I don't pick at it like I did, just because it seems to have learned how to protect itself OR its going away (I pray)!

I have used just about everything from natural remedies to prescribed meds and nothing touched it. Just made it worse. Being sent from doctor to doctor is getting old. NONE OF THEM KNOW WHAT IT IS! I go to yet another dermatologist next month (couldn't get in for months, so maybe this one is good?). I think the plastic surgeon will be able to fix me once I get rid of it, whatever it may be.

I am really scared. I can see what it is doing on the outside, what is it doing to me on the inside? I'm tired, can't think and weak. Where did that facial tissue or fatty tissue go? That scares the heck out of me!!

I've had smaller lesions on my chin, the other side of my face, inside my nose and on my nose. The chin was the worst and it spread like this one. It lasted about 9 months before it went away and left a nice dent in my chin. This one is the lesion from H*LL! None on my body...all on my face. It's like I'm being punished or something.

Sorry this is so long. You all are so helpful and I don't talk about it to anyone, so it feels good to get it out. My husband wants me to get better, but won't listen to a thing about M. He is sure a doctor will be able to magically cure me. Why haven't they?

Wishing good health and happiness to you all,
Scar

scarface,

Hi there gal! Sorry to hear that you are haveing such a bad time ) : This thing is really scarey, but after the initial shock is gone it is not as bad. You just have to let go of the vanity and not associate that what you look like is who you are. Take your confidence from knowing who you are inside and that you are a child of god and he loves you just the way you are. It's no easy for any of us. My mom always said "Do the best with what you've got". I would just suggest finding a lyme dr-and not saying anything about the morgs-just the things that lyme can cause that you have and from what I have learned here is that al ot of things prescribed for that at least helps. It is better than going from dr to dr that has no clue and costs you money that can be spent better. I am very frugal, so I planned it out after hearing all of these horror stories with dr's and money spent. Went to regular dr-no clue-dermatologist-no clue-so found every sight on the web that could maybe find a lyme dr in my area. Waited patiently while doing the herbs, diet change and salt-vitamin c thing and bathing-cleaning protocols and finally went to the dr-I figure if not lyme-at least whatever they give me may help rid me of these pesky critters. Just hang in there-believe me- we were all at one point ready to lose our monds and severly depressed-but just stay strong and never give up-it will get better! God Bless
Lizette45
PS-Don't worry about your husbands attitude. You just need to focus on getting well.

Hey TC....

It's so difficult for me to go through all the posts, so forgive me when I ask.

Are you cured from following the TCM?

Has anyone been cured?
