| I would like to put in my 2 cents worth about our sick furry babies. Both my dog and cat have morgellons or mycoplasma. No vet wants to test them. But I did get them checked out at 2 high/pricey places. my babies have it really bad. But, they still seem to enjoy their life. One place said that my cat had the infection. They gave him a lot of antibiotics, but only for two weeks. I ordered some of the med. over the internet. I dosed the dog and the cat with the antibiotics for about 6 weeks. The cat looked like he was getting better. But my husband made me made me stop treating them. He thinks they are not sick. I would like to try the ivermectine on all 3 of us. But, I am afraid of the after effects. And the dog does not like the enzyme sprays/soaks. And I would not be able to catch the cat. I do use the enzyme liquid in my house. I hope yall have some of meds to try on your pets. Take care, hella Last edited by hellalone; June 8th, 2011 at 02:15 AM. |

| Ivermectin is unsuitable for cats. It is toxic to them, please do not use it on cats. I worked in kennels, catteries, shelters and zoos, and went to vet school. Please do not treat cats with ivermectin. Bleach is also very toxic to cats, more so than antifreeze, something most people are not aware of. |

| On the Charles E Holman website they show one cat that they completely covered in Zinc Oxide It wont let me post the link but, in the search bar for thier page put "Pets with Morgellons" . For all yall wondering we decided not to get a dog unless we are keeping one from euthanasia unless a home is immediatly found. Explained our situation with the rescue group and will see what happens. There have been folks that adopted a shelter dog and then the family came down with it. It is a major problem in the animal kingdom as they can not tell us when things feel wierd! |

| Smart vet because a lot of respiratory diseases can show up in the skin and not just in the nails. A lot of old time drs knew to check. I'm glad Vets still do. Quote:
