| Ahhh, how to wage the Art of War in your basin against your unmentionables. It has been a very exciting year so far! Poor Kleen Green - it never did a thing. an Uncontested fail. There are many more, much better smelling alternitives though! Just for the sake of brevity, Things I can't live without are Febreeze and a laundry additive called BIZ. Borax worked less effectively (due to chemical structure snafus) - but if you can get your hands on ACTUAL Boric Acid, I recommend that wholeheartedly (Also, if the Boric Acid does not make you happy in your journey into combat - I have another use - as an insect Deterant. Ants will not (usually) cross a nice thick barrier of the stuff ie. you can break up an ant trail or dust a bunch into a crevice they keep emerging from.) |

| Combatentomologist, What did you mean about the Borax being less effective and Biz being more so? Why is that? I've seen Biz but have never used it. Is it a detergent or an additive? I'm getting tired of de-clumping the Borax and wouldn't mind switching to something else as a laundry additive. I guess I've gotten as close to winning the war with the bra monsters as I'm going to get short of just buying new ones every week. I soak underwear for at least 30 minutes in straight H202 before washing. Boy, do they come out white! And then I put about a pound and a half of talcum powder in underwear before I put it on. It makes critters cough and sneeze and immobilizes them for several hours before they regain their composure and stat biting me again... ![]() |
