| I have a unit that has all but the HEPA filtration, and I am ready to go a step further. This unit has a washable hepa filter and performs all three of the other functions. (It is not a good idea to run ozone while you are home, but you can turn off that feature). It has a 3,500 sq ft coverage. I have my current one in a central hall, facing the HVAC air intake so that clean air goes throughout the vent system. I can run the ozone when I'm not home so that it can hopefully kill any mold in the vents. WASHABLE ATLAS HEPA IONIC AIR PURIFIER CLEANER OZONE IONIZER 300HR02 - Ozonator | hepa air purifiers | ionic air cleaner | hepa filters | negative ion generator | ozone plates | esp Some info from this link: ![]() The Washable HEPA filter is a mainstay in areas that require clean air such as hospitals, clean rooms, and high-tech manufacturing plants ![]() The unit is made of solid natural wood, no pressed wood or laminent exterior Save hundreds off retail price and get the Atlas Air Purifier for your home or office. The Atlas Hepa Air Purifier comes on automatically when you turn the control knob to the desired setting. Negative ions can be created around the clock to keep down dust and particles that cause allergies. The activated oxygen has a separate control. Activated oxygen is normally kept at modest levels in occupied spaces. To remove major odors, the unit may be adjusted to a higher level for a period of time. Some use a timer to completely deodorize the home or office while away. Unused O3 reverts back to O2 in about an hour. SS |

| Thanks for this information Sadsack! I have two ionic-pro filters which each cleaning about 500 sf . They are regulated so that they are safe with O3 output. I think air filters are very important too. I'm glad I don't need AC where I live. itwl~jonsi

| Hi Sadsack, Jonsi, The only thing that would scare me is washing that hepa with my water ![]() I had two smaller units that you could turn on and off the ozone and had UV and I do think they helped but they need new filters right now and they cost 45.00 dollars to replace and my husband would probably flip! He gets mad if I have the nerve to use the laundry room fan while doing laundry. I don't get him at all we are not talking 1000 watt fan. No one else I tell gets him either He must like condensation to build up and damage our home. Oh and make me sicker. ![]() I am to the point if I had the financial means a 1 bedroom mold free apartment in a dry climate is looking very interesting. Back to the air cleaner. I will go check out their site. I think I have looked at these before.

| Hi cyn, the ionic pro has no filters. Just three metal blades you wipe off with a cloth or paper towel, an two long metal wires which are cleaned by tipping the unit upside down (beads clean the wires). No expensive filters involved! ~jonsi
