Angry Thought robe was clean!

Hi
When I wash I use hot water, era detergent, borax, bleach, sometimes pour in alcohol (not to often, didn't know if the alcohol would hurt the machine). I also rinse extra times. Also I wash the load over and over. Then I dry everything to the point of baking them to death. You would think they are clean and anything on them would be DEAD. Well it's been cold in FLA. lately and I have this pink FLEECE robe I wear around the house kind of like a coat. I'm always going out on my patio to smoke ( I know) and I look down and just happen to see little black spots in the robe (barely, barely visable). Why I never noticed before,I don't know. You know, every time I would put it on and run my hands over it, my hands would get very dry. I know that is a sign of this but for some reason I'd just put it out of my head. I guess it's because I was cold and it was the best thing to keep me warm. DENIAL, SOMETIMES DON'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT. GOD. After looking with magnifying glass it is infested with this S**T. So everyone check anything the least bit fuzzy. GOD, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO PEOPLE. I feel a rant coming on. Be sure to look very close, very hard to see but definitely there.

Best Wishes
Claudia

Merry Christmas,
I was so shocked at what I found in my robe I felt a sense of defeat with this battle we are all in. I thought I'd reach out to all of you.Have you ever had the feeling when your in a room full of people of still being alone? Thank you sadsack and baraka for your response to me. It makes me not feel so alone in this.

BEST WISHES

Claudia

Claudia -
Please PM me about the support group starting this Sunday. If there is any way that you can get to Tampa midafternoon, you WILL be in a room full of people where you do NOT feel alone. It is an extraordinary experience to actually be face to face with others who are suffering the same as you.

Thank You Kritters,

I was just out on my patio again and saw a tiny bug on the chair cushion where I sit. OK, no big deal I'll just get a tissue and squish it and of coarse look at it with my magnifying glass (because I'm obsesed with looking at every bug that I see, because I don't know what this is that we all have and if you'd seen what I've seen going on with my body, you'd look too, not DOP just FACT). Well when I went to get the little booger it went straight down into the material. Never saw a bug do that before. This is not some kind of big open weave material either. This is not a very old set of out door furniture and is stuffed with polyester. My robe was polyester too, not cotton. I really, really keep thinking about all the imports we all have to buy these days. My daughter-in-law cut open a cheap polyester filled pillow one day with a big black mass in it. Whats going on. So many wierd things.

Oh Sadsack how wonderful that would be. It would have to be alot closer than Tampa for me to be able to go. Sadsack I'm in pretty sad shape.

Claudia -
What side of Tampa are you on? Maybe someone is coming from near where you are...I can check if you give me an approximate.
Believe me, I know what you mean by being in sadshape. Maybe one day we can compare stories. If you had told me last Christmas that I would be alive to see another one, I would have said you have no idea what you are talking about. If the world hasn't come to an end by then, I most certainly will have.
This is simply unimaginable unless you've lived it.
