Default Dose any one get lots of static on there hair and clothes?

OK well, in noticed lots of static electricity on all my cloths, and it seems to be the cause from what lives in my cloths, I know this sound weird but, for example, after I get my cloths out of the dryer I hang it up because the static is unbearable, even if I hang it up for a day I still have this static, so I wait two or three days and it goes away. But after awhile I started to fined out when I had the cloths sealed in a plastic clear bag I could hear popping and movement when I had the bag near any source of heat even my body temp. The popping and movement would accrue, and then when I checked what’s in the bottom of the bag, there I found these clear crystals and black speaks how weird is that?

Smile Re-Static

Hi Kool-aidman,
This is going to sound really simple but I would always just shake out the article of clothing real hard. That usually worked for me. Dryer sheets or fabric sofener are used to help with static too. I myself did not like them though because they would leave a waxy film on the clothes and I was allergic to the fragrances. As far as what you are finding in the bottom of the bag, all I can say is wash the load a couple of times and also always re-rinse. Now like I said, beware of fleece clothes. The morgs can get down in the base of the fibers and you can't get it out no matter how many washes or dryings. About this popping and morgs , thats a strange thing. There are many strange things though with this disease. I lit a cigarette one time and a pain went straight to my arm and then a big pop sound. Weird. No answers for that one. You just can't make this stuff up. Hope some of this helps you .

Default Where and What- Re: Clothes-what I found id new socks

Due to never ever being caught up on laundry or anything anymore, recently I had no clean socks. Letting my husband know first, I grabbed a pair of his new and in the bag yet socks.

I was going to be leaving the house and felt it was cold enough outside to affect the Raynaud's in my feet so decided to stick toe hotties on the bottom of socks.

To my horror, there was a fiber coming from one of the socks. The fiber that moves and seems like it has an eye or something. I wanted to inspect further to determine if this was from the new socks or one I picked up walking through the house. Once again I was horrified. These brand spankin' new and in the bag yet socks had the "live/ moving" fibers.

Where does everyoe buy there clothes and what.

Posey,

What 'live, moving fibers' are you talking about? How large, micro or macro? Moving HOW?

Post Re: washing clothing

I've used borax in the bottom of socks to avoid itchies and the organism doesn't like the stuff. Also, washing with borax helps get rid of fibers on clothing. I found Bounce dryer sheets are the best way to get rid to lint and bio-active fibers(the ones that seem to have all that static electricity),that move and cause itching the second you wear the clothing with the stuff on it. I have even used Fabreeze on clothing to stop the static and help feel comfortable in clothing that seems to attract lint, hairs etc. I wish I knew how toxic Fabreeze is and what I'm doing to my lungs by spaying it; or if it's a short-term toxic solution. Any thoughts?
Faith
