| White vinegar is great to dissolve dirt and soap scum from smooth counter tops, yet it is still mild enough to use in a solution to clean hardwood floors. White vinegar is a natural deodorizer, actually absorbing odors instead of masking them. The actually vinegar aroma disappears when fully dry. With no actual coloring, white vinegar won't stain surfaces. It is also great on detergent residue. Some people even use white vinegar as a fabric softener substitute for families with sensitive skin. Mix in a sprayer bottle: 1 cup white vinegar 1 cup water |
