Its a NEW YEAR and the answers are not available, we have a little information but we have hope.

The itching is a early on issue that can subside, you may have a tiny problem of this, or a tiny problem of that, then maybe you will develope massive symptom situations.

I have had this 39 years, for the most part this disease was a ghost, it showed little, still I could tell it was destroying me slowly but surly. My early issues, heavy itching, exzema, dry skin, tiny bright red spots on the skin, like a tiny raised red mole, hair loss, little tiny itchy red spots when itched would show a deep tiny spot, tiny spots on the flesh that open and bleed like mad (if you have these types of spots you WILL have lesion/TUMOR involvment as it develops it can be hidden from view, my contention is that these take a VERY long time to grow before they out themselves to the surface.

If you have sex, swap fluids, operation, blood transfusion I am sure you can get this or give it. Casual contact I do not belive it will be easy to get.

You more than likely got this from sex, and it could have been some time before you started to itch, so, you will not imagine it was your lover, this disease is SNEAKY.

What country are you from, I hear a accent in your typing,

Welcome to MDR, hope you get it under control

Good post, Baraka. I'm newly afflicted (7 months now). May I ask...what would major manifestations include? I have lesions, swelling, some itching...intensifies in humidity and with stress. Truth is best. and thank you.

Blessings,

G

I think a few of these ideas for the most part are imagined, that I can not help, that idea is bugs and nobody can show differently, I keep asking but nobody has the pictures yet to pull that idea together.

I believe a cure will come and if it is in a form of as simple as a fungus that would be great but what ever it may be, you can be sure some group of people will be close behind to take advantage by turning it into a money maker as motivation, as opposed to merely being motivated in helping those who suffer from M. As a reminder to those dedicated to caring for the ill :

Principles of medical ethics

I. A physician shall be dedicated to providing competent medical care, with compassion and respect for human dignity and rights.
II. A physician shall uphold the standards of professionalism, be honest in all professional interactions, and strive to report physicians deficient in character or competence, or engaging in fraud or deception, to appropriate entities.
III. A physician shall respect the law and also recognize a responsibility to seek changes in those requirements which are contrary to the best interests of the patient.
IV. A physician shall respect the rights of patients, colleagues, and other health professionals, and shall safeguard patient confidences and privacy within the constraints of the law.
V. A physician shall continue to study, apply, and advance scientific knowledge, maintain a commitment to medical education, make relevant information available to patients, colleagues, and the public, obtain consultation, and use the talents of other health professionals when indicated.
VI. A physician shall, in the provision of appropriate patient care, except in emergencies, be free to choose whom to serve, with whom to associate, and the environment in which to provide medical care.
VII. A physician shall recognize a responsibility to participate in activities contributing to the improvement of the community and the betterment of public health.
VIII. A physician shall, while caring for a patient, regard responsibility to the patient as paramount.
IX. A physician shall support access to medical care for all people.

So I have been told, and heard, this is not contagious. Or at least they aren't sure. Why are you saying " you got this from your lover?" and now I can't have sex? Geeze, I don't like this. I am a widow. And dating. Is this Morgellons, going to stop my ever having a sexual partner again? What about the last long term relationship. was mostly on for 6 yrs. He doesn't have it, or no symptoms. He used to "tease" me , how I must have gotten it from sex, with him. He didn't know. What if I was with him only, since we already had sex for 6 yrs. Broke off a month ago. He'd take me back...lol....NOT funny

Now THERE's an attention-grabbing subject line...

I have been with my husband for 40 years, as he was my high-school boyfriend, and we eventually married. He may have this disease, and may well have had it before I did, as he exhibited symptoms some years ago. But they never became acute. It has occurred to me that he may have transmitted it to me, and my body and weakened immune system just allowed it to manifest in the way that it did. He continues to display sporadic minor symptoms, but remains blissfully unaware and unaffected.

When I first developed the acute signs, and became sick, we stopped having relations, and it has been four months. We just resumed very recently, and so far I have not exhibited any increased adverse reaction. This, obviously was a major concern for me, but we are married, and life must go on...

My apologies if this post was TMI for some...

Apology accepted.

Oh what a hoot!

Our research is thorough,in depth,comprehensive,all encompassing,intense
...............and long suffering.

Everything is important at this point.

I've never needed to post my symptoms and experiences because to my
daily amazement someone here has or is already covering them.

To the feds---FYI I had been experiencing all the hellish symptoms
for >2yrs before I saw any internet discussions on M or anything else.
