| Hello, I definitely have Morgellons with out a doubt, however one of the main symptoms everyone describes is the feeling of bugs underneath your skin, or the itchy feeling. I DO NOT HAVE THIS SYMPTOM? Is that normal? Is this symptom usually at the first stages or middle or last stages? I have actively had Morgellons for over a year now with constant problems on my face and hands (fingers mainly) and have recently discovered them on my teeth and gums. But I have never experienced the itchy feeling or the feeling of bugs crawling on my skin? Are there others like me? Is this something that will happen eventually because I hope and pray it does not. |

| The brain-fog/depression, lesions and joint pain came before the crawling sensations in my case... I saw a psychiatrist for over a year before I started feeling things crawling and biting my skin, the black flecks and glitter, fibers and weird spider webs. I hope you don't develop new symptoms. I suggest that you watch what you eat and what pharmaceutical meds you take. There are several threads on this site about food & meds & natural treatments. For several years my daughter & I tried to stick to a diet without preservatives/additives and it helped us. I do believe in prayer & meditation. In the white light, ~jonsi

| I am in strong agreement with Jonsi, especially re: the dietary issues. While I had the crawling feeling which is when I first became alerted to this, I also had the brain fog, depression, fatigue, scalp issues, etc. for a long time before. I spent three months on a 75% raw, vegan diet, highly alkaline, and have never developed lesions at all, but did lose over 25lbs, which I could ill-afford. I am now eating a much broader diet including some animal protein like chicken breast, organic eggs and seafood, a ton of quinoa, which is toted as a nutritional treasure chest, sweet potatoes and more. No sugars still, no alcohol at all, limited carbs and dairy. I have just begun doing this since Christmas Eve and feel so much stronger! But I do believe that the alkaline diet is beneficial, as Ph acidity lends itself to a lot of general health issues. Supplements are key, however... Quote:

| Hi I too have no lesions and only felt the crawling sensation on my scalp at first, bt was more like a worming sensation rather than a bug crawling sensation, then the brain fog and biofilm got me along with fibres and shooting dart things, now I have the worming sensation all over on a bad day. I only get crawling feelings on my face and neck though, the rest is definitely more of a worm like movement. Hope you are lucky enough not to develop any further symptoms, and don't go looking for it to happen coz you will drive yourself crazy thinking every sensation you feel on your skin is Morgellons related and that's not a good place to be, believe me, I've been there! Xx |

| Most of the individuals that post here on mdr arer calling this a biofilm.I have watched them grow into things that are more buglike but have not been able to get one to live past a certain stage after almost having an adult live long enough to photo.I missed my best shots after my camera and computer were lost.Biofilm or larva, anyone care to speculate? |

It can be both, scab. Bacteria form biofilm and biofilm attracts all sorts of things. This is my theory as to why the symptoms are similar but vary. I think this is Lyme with various coinfections. Some of which may be parasidic. The isects that carry Lyme, ie ticks, mites and some flies, have also been known to transmit nematodes along with the Lyme spirochete bacteria. They call it piggybacking. It explains a lot of the symptoms. Just my opinion based on my personal research. Its not meant to disregard anyones theory. |
