Wink Morgellon, how to get rid of it?

Hi My name is Ginny, I'm new to this site. I'd like to find information about Morgellons, comments from people who also suffer from this disease. I will share information that has helped me to combat some of the disease, but I have yet to be able to rid myself of this mess altogether. If there is anyone else out there who has had more success in ridding themselves of this, I would really appreciate knowing what they have used in order to accomplish this.

Welcome to the forum Ginny. I noticed the visitor message you posted under your information so I copied it. In this message you described what you have tried so far:

"I have what I think is Morgellons, I have used many different things, house hold and over the counter remedies, such as Borax and Ammonia, to wash my clothing with, alfalfa baths, oatmeal, internally I've taken Claritin and Zantac, both at the same time, which have given me results in stopping the itch and constant burning to my skin. Day and night, I am picking these parasites out of my skin, have them stuck on tape, and have taken a microscopic picture of each and every one of them. The doctors don't seem to believe the evidence I give them and would rather tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about then actually study the facts in front of their faces. They don't seem to have an answer to this dilemma, it would seem that they don't take it very seriously, yet too many people are having this same problem, and it's not going away for them."

I believe you have to treat internal symptoms as well as external ones. You might like to look up old posts under this section:

Morgellons Treatment

Just scroll down and you will find lot of suggestions from members, plus there are always folks who will try to help in whatever way they can.

Hi Ginny,

I did not see your post earlier, but wanted to welcome you now!

I agree about treating the internal and the external. Good luck and please check back in and let us know what you have been doing and what you are thinking about trying.

Best Wishes to you!

Default Hi Ginny-losing posts -what I do

Welcome. Bear w/me I have 2 use on screen keyboard right now.

After losing a few of my posts/replys, I now copy and paste them in a self email or doc before ever clicking anything. To be safe, if post is a little lengthy I do this more than once during typing post. Much easier to c/p vs starting all over again.

Glad your path brouht you to MDR.
