| I am new to this page and am so happy to find it. I have been going through this for what I am sure is at least ten months now. I have had things that I thought were bedbugs for longer, but they went away. I am a teacher and was sure that I had caught something from one of my less than hygenic students. Several doctors have seen me including two dermatologists. The most recent one acted very strangely when the biopsies showed bites but nothing but fibers showed up on the slides. The itching and sleep deprivation seem to be the worst symptoms. I don't want to be touched at all a lot of the time. Thank you for being here. I have been alone in this so long. My husband is wonderful and has been caring for me for months including staying up late to make sure that I had clean linens and all my supplements. These things just recently went into my mouth and have been biting my tongue and throat. From what I have been reading, I am doomed to do without sugar or sugar substitutes forever? That is a depressing thought considering my sweet tooth. Thanks again for this group. |

| Welcome to the forum belle. I am sorry to hear you have had a rough time. I think most of us do when we first become ill, but over time many have seen symptoms improve. You are very fortunate to have an understanding husband as many have spouses, family members and/or friends who are less than sympathetic towards them. There are many good suggestions on MDR to treat symptoms. You might want to look under the Morgellons treatment section for threads on this subject: Morgellons Treatment Here is a thread which may help you locate a more sympathetic health care practitioner: Finding A Doctor To Help If you need to ask questions you have found the right place. best, tcm ![]()

| welcome Belle! It is so nice to have you here, although I am sorry it is under these circumstances. It's good to hear your husband is so understanding. He sounds great. About the bugs in your mouth, that just sounds so challenging!!!! I wonder if home brewed (or even store bought) teas would help. I make lots of peppermint tea and keep it in the fridge. I also brew up Ginger Roots. You hopefully can find a tea that will chase them away from that area. About the sugar, it is hard at first, but then it is not bad at all. Some things that help in the transition might be frozen black cherries, You can eat them cold, or heat them up and even alone tehy taste like cherry pie. (I mean the no sugar kind.) Also, I use Greek Yogurt, plain all natural, and sprinkle fresh blueberries on it. It tastes just like cheesecake. Of course the fruit has a form of sugar, but much healthier for us. Well, I dont want to fill your thread up w more food ideas. But thanks for being here. And hope you feel better soon! |

| Hello Belle, I am so happy that you were able to find sites that know what you are going through. It breaks my heart for those many that don't know what the heck is going on. I was one of those for quite some time. Welcome, I hope you will be able to be like many here whom have overcome or at least have a handle on their symptoms. ![]() Love and Blessings, Kc |

| Welcome Belle! You mentioned that at first thought you might have caught this from one of your students. When my daughter's head started itching (3 years ago?) we got a pink spray for the hair to test for lice and nothing showed up. I don't think you got "M" from any of your students and I wouldn't be afraid of passing this on to anyone else. As far as your sweet tooth goes, Ginger root tea is anything but sweet, but it does wake up the tongue and warm up the tummy (very stimulating!). Time to try something new? We'll tell you how to make it of you don't know how.I hope you start feeling better very soon, but sometimes this is a long road. There is light at the end of the tunnel. In the white light, ~jonsi

| What Jonsi said reminded me,... I used to go to a... type of doctor... when I was out of the country... and in some of the things she had me take she would give me licorice roots to brew up. It tastes DELICIOUS and so sweet. I just don't know where to get such good qualtiy roots here, but I guess maybe some of the organic herb places I;ve seen on the Internet. Also, you could buy the store tea too. It is sooo sweet, and sooo good!! And you can use the root to flavor other teas as well if you need more sweetness. The only thing I would suggest is to google about cautions. I forget now, but I think if you do too much it raises blood pressure or something like that. I used to drink it all the time, but never too much. Well, jsut an idea. Last edited by fracty; February 24th, 2010 at 04:08 AM. |

| Teaching and Nursing are the most common occupation amongst those registered at the Morgellons Foundtion. What ages are your Students,Belle? There is a natural sweetner you could try.It is called Stevia but you need to get the root form. Don't use any artificle sweetners like Splendour. They are no more than poision. | I like to use organic blue agave nectar, it is low glycemic?, don't have the bottle here. I was wondering out loud, what everyone's theories are on WHY teachers and nurses are the highest occupation to have morgellon's?? Love and Blessings,kc |

| kckc, I think they are more likely then Farmers & Ranchers to register or post. Seen an article about that. I'm thinking M could be from Biting Flies like Jo's Theory. And maybe we had a bad case of parasites before ,that weakens us. But why NOW ? Maybe imported Phorid Flies Or Agri Bacterium ? Welcome Belle9, Sorry to meet your acquaintance like this.
