Default how contagious is morgellons?

i have a friend who has morgellons and i'm afraid i may have been exposed. how contagious is it? he did some work on my car, but didn't tell me his condition was flared up (it was just a couple of days after the full moon). anyway, he showed me this bowl of water where he had collected many of the bugs he had pulled out of his skin and proceeded to show me all the weird stuff they do...how they change shape..how they connect to each other to form a chain, how they try to jump to get out of the bowl, etc. they were the gel rice looking things with the white center. his hands were so beat up with scabs. i was really freaked out by what i saw, but didn't know what it was. i just knew he had a really mean, aggressive and cunning skin parasite. he'd been telling me about it for months so i'd heard about the symptoms and sensations. after i left his place, i felt something jump into the skin on my hand, and i could see something moving that was about the size and shape of what i'd seen in the bowl, and it was moving. it felt like it was trying to burrow in and i felt these shocking like sensations like it was in my nervous system or something. when i got home i did everything i could to not let it get any further...i iced it, i put clove, eucalyptus and other essential oils, i took a lot of parasite killing herbs and homeopathic remedies. (i have FMS, Lymes, and lots of other parasites, yeast, fungus, etc., so i lots of stuff to throw at it) after a few hours it stopped moving, but i still have the lump in my skin. the next week my friend asked my to come over and made it sound like life or death. when i got there, he wanted to show me his poop. there is a mental component that causes obsession and it's powerful and scary. he kept asking me for help but wouldn't take the stuff i gave him or follow my suggestions. he showed me the things with the thorn shape, etc. i finally did some research and have no doubt it's morgellons. then i went on youtube and saw the same type of stuff he'd shown me in his bowl. i have a five-year-old son and i'm concerned about his exposure. my friend's dog was staying with us at the time, and he rode in my car and then hung out all over my house. i don't want to be paranoid, but i don't want to take my chances that i might not be paranoid. can anyone tell me how contagious this is? are there any other precautions i should take? my heart goes out to anyone suffering with this. i have seen what it has done to my friend and i don't want to add this to my list of health problems. i appreciate any information. thank you.

Phenom -

No one can answer that with complete certainty, only from what they think they know from their personal experience. I will give mine first.

I had different people stay/work in my house when I was at the height of my infestation the summer of 2007. One stayed two weeks, others a few days. Not one developed symptoms.

Drs. Wymore, Kolb, Staninger, Stricker, and Savely all say that if it is contagious, it is not readily. Most think that it is contracted from the environment rather than other people. All these doctors have been seeing Morgellons patients for years and none have caught it.

That said, I DO think that the conditions that you have may pre-dispose you, though many have all those conditions and do not have Morgellons.

I just want to add that eating healthy food (nothing fast food like McDonalds, Arby's etc), finding out what foods (wheat, rice, corn) you are allergic to, and staying away from highly processed foods and GMO's will help everyone.

Toxic cleansers (detergents) and fertilizers can aggravate our skin and hurts our planet. It enters our water supply. We all need to wake up and take some responsibility, even if you aren't sick with "M" yet.

Health Freedom Threats: Codex, FDA, Vaccinations, GMOs :: HealthFreedomUSA.org Please check it out.

Some of us can say for sure that they got "M" from a certain source and know when they got it. I can't. But by paying attention to what I mentioned above, my symptoms are pretty much gone.

In the white light,
~jonsi

Default Long Time Sister

Predisposed, thats funny, you have had this for a LONG LONG time with all those symptoms, maybe you just picked up just one more OR your time had come. We do not really know the whole story, but my greatest suspission is when someone has LOTS of problems they are not a hypocondriac(THEY ARE ALREADY INFECTED)!!!! Now lets take time to go back and find out when all these other things started, skin problems, vaginal problems, hair thinning or loss, there is a starting place, just one of many, so many.

Sorry about your ordeal. We ask ourselves the same questions.
We've been asking them for years and are still none the wiser.
What Jonsi says is sound advice everyone should follow if they have Morgellons or not.
Stay clear of the processed foods esp. artificle sugars and build your immune system up again.
That should help you with the Lyme too.
