This Spectazole Cream my new dr gave me for Ringworm on my back, really removes debris and speeds up the healing on my face ! It seems to penetrate the skin and works beyond where I rub it. The texture of my skin feels smoother, no little bumps beneath the surface, I have only been using it 5 days.

Brand name = Econazole Nitrate Cream %1
Ringworm = Tinea Corporis

I don't think she was able to diagnois that what's on my Face is the same as on my back, but she said try it. Maybe it's one of the other Tineas ? But it surely is helping. If you go to a medical dr, ask for some, it cost $5.75.

- Microconozole (sp?) or something (OTC - Jock Itch Cream!). WooHoo. I think this was an anti-fungal prescribed by one of my misdiagnosers in 2006, along w/that antibiotic that gave me whole-body hives and made my ears swell up. This felt like ICE on your skin, but it didn't heal what was subcutaneous. Soothing, though.
- My pers. fave: Drawing Salve/Black Tar Salve/Ichthamol. OTC. It's an old Grandma's Gardening remedy for getting thorns and such outta ya (think it also works for glass) - I used a lot of this after the mainstream docs failed me, after the 1st yr.. I think this helped keep IT from embedding deeper in me, not sure (?)
If anyone has active lesions and hasn't used Drawing Salve yet, WOAH. I'd get some bandages and hang on. This yanked stuff out of me, the first time I used it I could feel something pulsating towards the bandage, it was kinda scary. But we need to get IT & all IT's friends out of us, as much as we can, to expedite our healing.
Plus, for those of you w/microscopes and/or photo collections - ya get to see exactly what comes out on the bandage after overnight: Quite Shocking!
One of the more famous researchers/treaters I spoke with along the way confirmed they used Drawing Salve (and they said Tanning, too)...
Wishing global Butterflies!,

I went in to register and it wouldn't allow it. It said to contact them by email but gave no address. I understand how many people they may get who do not understand this disease. I don't know how many times I cried with my husband telling him that I know that I'm not delusional. I have been refused treatment by several. Thanks for the link even if it doesn't work.

It wouldn't allow me to post with the link to the cream. I am new here and have not learned the site completely.

Poor Dragon!
I had some marks in the same exact spots on my left cheek before, not as bad. I'm so sorry to you for them, that stinks...Thank you for being brave and sharing your photos to help others!
Are those pics from before? You're doing something that got them healed better than that by now, right?
See what you think about the drawing salve (check w/whosever protocol you're doing/make sure OK, always), it worked for me to SUCK some things to the surface/reduce swelling and ridges around/underneath lesions. I'd bandage up my whole cheek a coupla nights in a row. Wait til ya get a load of the bandages!
Thank you for humbly reminding me that a lot of us have suffered a lot more than me with this...and that I need to keep up The Fight until nobody has to compare marks anymore. And until no one new is going to get them

Ya Dragon. I really admire you for fighting through this and being one of the landmark ppl to get this out in the open.

I am so sorry about your face. I wonder if you will find something internal or external that might start to repair them. I had some weird things that came and went, and some things cleared up even when I did not expect it. Like some others here, I also had some weird things that came and then right before my eyes got normal again very quickly. If we could figure out what was doing it, maybe it will help you.

Well, all I can do for now is send you a web hug and hope you start doing better.

Default face

I used, on my own, first zinc ointment, then i came across the clearance table at my local nutritional store and tried a product by 'bioking' called aquios parasite restoration, and mold restoration, it really helped with the painful, i call it herpes, blister-like things on my face. I went to the dermatologist once and she said it wasn't acne, but some other form of bacteria.....that's all, prescribed doxy... blah blah blah. I didn't research bioking that much, its homeopathic, but it sure helped with the pain and getting those sharp things coming out of my face, and drying it up. I very much hope your doing well dragonfly. God Bless!
Love and Blessings, Kc

what ive been doing, take a bright, hot lamp and put it close ( not too close) to your skin, let it warm your skin a few minutes, then take a qtip with hydrogen peroxide and spread it around.. wait a few minutes and these little squigglys will start coming out. usually they will come out next to the 'site' they are, realy carefully take tweezers and pull gently like a splinter. but dontlet yourself start carving, theyll come out. now, please keep in mind, nobody has told me i have morellons yet, but its the only thing making sense. i think my problem is from birds, the bird parasites in the nests of trees that overhang the house.
but last night, i did this, and wow, ill try to post some pics, i was tripping! but if you dip the tweezers in the proxide, then glide it over the buggy bug, he'll come out..
thats what worked for me..hope it helps.
when your 'done', use neosporin..

Default BE CAREFUL WITH NEOSPORIN, ANTIBIOTIC CREAM of any kind

I have used every cream in the world dam near, you should NEVER EVER use antibiotic creams on the lesions on the arms, too many times it started a painful reaction one that went deep down in my arm, made it feel like I was smashed to the bone, the pain went up my back onto my neck. I lost the use of my arm, the arm was good for lifting 150 pounds by itself, after I could not pick up 3 pounds over my head, talk about scared. For me Dying ain't scary, but living crippled is. Somthing that will stop the reaction if you will not listen is DESITIN ORIGINAL 40% ZINC OXIDE. If a Lesion starts to hurt you need to Quickly cover the lesion with thick Desitin and cover it with saran wrap. This reaction turned my hand into a club, it was worth nothing more as I could not grasp with it, the doctors called it carrple tunnel, which also traveled over into the other hand, within days. So here I was unable to pick things up and with a crippled throbbing arm so painful I went to two emergency rooms, they saw the lesions on my legs and thought I was a junky would not give me somthing for pain. What a farce, $10,000 dollars that cost. To hear your not having a heart attack and we will not give you drugs. Why do I HATE DOCTORS, just ask, got a story book full of their chamber of horrors.

Note for some reason this does not happen on the face, but it will make your eyes hard to see out of.
