I vote for starting late in the morning west coast time, or early to mid afternoon East coast time...

Here's how it will work at least for now, due to various reasons. After I get the final tally on the day we all choose, the chat room will be left open for a period of 24 hours. But what would be great for all the people who what to chat, would be to find the day and then a time where the most people can gather together and chat away.

friski actually according to the site's statistics, we are usually quite busy on Thursdays and Mondays for some reason.

I'm pretty open, but then again, I'm self-employed ... and currently in recovery mode so have lots of free time (and no energy to go out). Frankie, what time of day is the board most active (factoring in time zones)? Maybe that could help us set a time. Yet another great idea from you -- thanks! Mary

Mary actually we get busy through out the day in spurts. But by far, we the most busy from 6-9 which makes perfect sense since that's when everyone is home from work etc.
