Morgellons Live Chat Room

Well, it would be the same rules we have set up. Actually if it works well it would be pretty cool software. You can talk to various people and have personal chat with someone personally. There are 2 rooms, one for morgellons and a other for anything else. Personally I would hope most of the chat would be about morgellons or health in general. This isn't exactly a social site like myspace or freindster. Also if I or others see people selling or giving sales pitches that will not fly either. This isn't a sales board. That's it, I think its pretty fair.

it all sounds great to me. i've never talked to anyone besides family (that has it too) and like i said in an earlier post, i long to fit into the world agaiin. its been 4 long years since i found the morgellons website. (at the time it was called Unknown Parasite Infection). i really don't care when the chat room is open cuz my schedule is so varied anyway that if i don't get there one week i may get there another.

Now, for someone as old and stupid as I am, when we talk about "live chat rooms" (something I always avoided because I pictured meeting strange predators and going into "private rooms" for internet sex. Something we actually found out that my teenage daughter did, when we took away her internet privileges, at age 17...)

Does this just involve logging onto THIS site, and typed communication; or is there any sound/voice involved like with Skype calls?
How does it handle multiple questions & answers from multiple people simultaneously? Does anyone want to give a brief explanation of what a chat-room IS to someone who is as naive as myself? Sounds like chaos...

Actually its quite simple if all goes well. Once you are logged in like you are now, you simple click on the link and enter the chat room. That's all. You wont be leaving the site, its all self contained within the site. It more like aol where you see everyone on a list, if you have used aol its the basically the same. Since only members here can chat there is no need to fear predators except maybe for Friski just j/k
