| I think we can all come to the conclusion that keeping your pH less acid (above 6.3) is highly beneficial not only for overall health of any person, but especially against Morgellons. Americans are known to have a very acidic diet which could one of the explanations for why Morgellons is more prevalent in the States. I would even go as far as saying people who do not have Morgellons will be immune to Morgellons if there pH is balanced and more Alkaline. Baking soda (aluminum free) is a super cheap and effective method of doing this. You can take 1/4 teaspoon with water once a day to achieve this. Or you can do other known beneficial methods such as: -Lemon or Lime juice 1 then add baking soda until bubbling stops. -Heating 3 tablespoons 100% Grade B or C Maple syrup with 1 tablespoon baking soda on pan for 3-7 min, stirring regularly, and drinking 3 teaspoons a day. (Highly beneficial vs cancerous tumors as well). You can buy pH strips to measure your pH, which is also extremely cheap. (About 5$ on Amazon for 100 strips). =========== I suggest every person should do this extremely CHEAP and beneficial practice, but especially those suffering from Morgellons and the loved ones they are in contact with. -Fables |

Seems that baking soda in water would upset the stomach. I drink lemon water but need an alternative when I have no fresh lemons. Isn't the apple cider vinegar a good alternative? |

| Balancing PH has been discussed by some others in the past, but to my best knowledge no one ever was cured by that method. Also I think some who have high blood pressure would have to be careful as far as sodium content of the baking soda. quote=Fables429;89217]I think we can all come to the conclusion that keeping your pH less acid (above 6.3) is highly beneficial not only for overall health of any person, but especially against Morgellons. | There are those that say, if you take baking soda at the start of a kidney infection it will just plain go away. Fables, do not MIX UP, baking soda with baking POWDER, it is baking POWDER that has aluminum, not baking soda. Hey, I thought we were gonna talk soon,. you got what five or six G/F, keeps you too busy. Just a little levity. |

| Baking soda is one of the active ingredients in Alka Seltzer, which, as you know, is used to treat stomach upset. It's been used in treatment of various other ailments as well. For alkalinity, I usually use anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon twice a day in a full glass of room temp water with juice of a quarter lemon or lime. If you use too much, it can result in alkalosis, which is not good. Health Benefits of Baking Soda | Alternative Health Zone What Are The Dangers Of Sodium Bicarbonate? | LIVESTRONG.COM I also occasionally take 2 tablespoons of ACV. Maintaining an alkaline Ph on a "normal" diet (at least here in the US) is very hard, as most of what we consume is highly acidic. All animal protein, dairy, almost all grains, most fruits, sweets, sugars, carbs are all acidic. My Ph was alkaline when I was on the strict, vegan alkaline diet, but ended up losing far too much weight and doing myself a bit of harm. Now that I'm trying to gain weight, I have been eating meat, dairy, more carbs, etc. and my Ph has been low, despite the baking soda and lemon water. I hadn't been feeling well as a result, so I have now decided to eat more alkaline foods again, just larger quantities, and include lots of quinoa, sweet potatoes, and my daily smoothie. My Ph is slightly higher and I am feeling much better. When my system is too acidic, my symptoms seem to increase as well. Alkaline is definitely better. Keep in mind that illness itself causes the body to lean more toward the acidic. Alkaline Diet Benefits – Five Signs You Need It | Alkaline Foods & Alkaline Diet I also brush my teeth with baking soda and a drop of tea tree and lavender or clove oils. My teeth haven't been this white iin 20 years, and the small sores in my mouth from the M have almost completely cleared. |

| Remember that although paying attention to pH may help, it will not cure Morgellons or even alleviate all its symptoms.

| Has anyone ever used papaya peelings for relief of lesions? I dont have many lesions very small ones but this works for me. A friend of mine who visited the Bahamas and had to go to a clinic for burns and the nurses there wrapped his wounds in papaya peelings and it worked wonders so I tried it. ![]() |
