| Hi all, Feeling a bit down at the moment as it has just been confirmed that I do have Morgellons which is quite advanced. It is on my face now as well as my body so you can imagine how I'm feeling. Been told to try infra red sauna, another sufferer is having good results. So now just have to find one in my area. Also was told that the remote control to your tv is infra red so in the meantime will try zapping my face with that. Has anyone else tried either of these. I am a clinical aromatherapist and am researching a blend of essential oils to use. I will be the guinea pig so will let you know results when I've finished researching and testing on myself. Thanks for listening Sue |

| I have used far infrared heat in a sauna booth, and a f.i.r. oversized heating pad. That started when I felt cold all the time. Now it seems to tone down some skin discomfort. It does not stop the feeling infection or skin eruptions. I have made enormous efforts to protect my immune system and remove toxic things from my life. for me the FIR was not meant to treat the M problems, just feeling cold. Then I had lots of M fibers and skin eruptions, and used FIR to feel better. It has not resolved my M problems. It always makes me feel not cold during times when I feel chilled. Quote:

| Hi Sue, So very sorry to hear your news, but am glad that you have joined us and decided to post. I'm curious as to how you were confirmed to have Morgellons? Did you go to a Dr. who confirmed it? Were any tests run? Also, as an FYI, I have had consistent good luck with Tea tree and lavender oils on the skin since day one. I use it twice a day after morning and evening showers. It has caused the fibers to slough off of my body, and I have never developed the lesions like some others. I also use it on my scalp, and use diluted tea tree on my eyelashes, as my eyes have bothered me a lot throughout this thing. The number of floaters and crawling there has improved much. It's actually a recommended treatment for blephartis. I also use oil of oregano and clove oil a lot, as well as peppermint. You will find quite a few folks here who have had various levels of success with essential oils, if you do a search. Quote:

| In my experience, using an infrared heating pad does make the morgellons parasite annoyed and causes it to move around, making it easier to kill with medications. However, just using infrared is asking to spread the morgies in your body, not kill them. If one has no money, 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda three times a day with water helps kill the little monsters. |

| Hi all, thanks for your answers. I live in Cyprus and haven't a clue how I got it. I had it confirmed by a biologist I met last Novemeber who also does live blood analysis. She has had Morgellons for years. I sent a sample down to her and she did some tests for me. |

| What do you think would be a good FIR protocol then? Make sure you have some sort of antimicrobials in the system while doing it? Maybe taking lots of myrrh would help since that is supposed to be excreted through the skin and is antiseptic |
