Default Twitching, eye pressure

Throughout this whole thing, I have experienced twitching under my left eye. It often happens after doing an eyewash, or sometimes if I eat or drink. I also feel similar twitching in my upper lip, also on the left side. It feels as if there is actually something inside there that gets aggravated and is moving around. In the lip, it was near to my nose, and now is actually closer to the lip itself. Previously this was stronger and now seems to be getting weaker, but still occurs. The eye thing is happening more frequently and now I am experiencing what seems to be some pressure behind the eyeball itself.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Ann, I have experienced and do experience the exact same thing. When I took the Albenza (which started my M journey), I really thought I was losing my mind. It was like there were things under my cheeks, lips, and eyes that were moving towards my lips, nose and eyes to exit. I had tons of fibers coming out in those areas as well. I actually had holes through the membrane of the sides of my nose where it appeared things were trying to exit. When this happened, I could see white streaks along my face where I felt the movement. Now, I just get the occasional twitching that you described. It feels like something is wiggling under the skin.

I cannot explain this phenomena. At the time, I would have sworn to my grave that something was under my skin but now, my logical mind tells me that it's more than likely nerves. Only someone who has experienced this could understand. It is the worst feeling I have ever experienced in my life and never want to go through it again. I can now handle the occasional twitch. I just tell myself that it's my nerves acting up. I hope this helps.

Default twitches

Thanks Meagan, yes it's helpful to know that I'm not alone in this.

Interestingly, I have noticed that friends and co-workers in whom I have seen symptoms have complained a lot about the eye twitching, which in some cases has gone on for hours, and even days. I have one young co-worker whose car is filled with the lint and fibers who complains about this often. She also has seen doctors for tingling, numbness, unexplained rashes, and fatigue. I have another co-worker who has complained of the same, and both before I came down with my acute symptoms. These things sadden me, and lead me to concur with scabdragger in that perhaps this thing is much more widespread than is apparent, and that we will see many more become afflicted in the near future...

Classic lyme disease symptom. Late stage lyme. I have it too. It comes and goes.

Lactoferrin has been helping a lot. Especially itching. Ill keep you posted.

Do a little research on lyme. I think youll see a lot of your symptoms match.

Ann, my niece came to our house for Christmas this year. She is 28 and I haven't seen her in years because she lived on the east coast. She has adult acne and was complaining about it so I paid more attention. Interestingly, we were playing games until late and the light was on above the table. I have seen the fibers fly off me many times and know what they look like and watch for them on everyone. They are not always noticeable. They were flying off her, from her hair, from her hands, from everywhere around her... more so then myself. I don't know what the heck this thing is or if it's related to Lyme but, Scab is right... it's everywhere and it saddens me as well. It is almost midnight here and I have a feeling that this will be the new "epidemic" of 2012. My heart is breaking!

Ya know, as much as I am with Polly and my logical mind tells me that it's something as simple as Lyme, this post reminded me of the weirdness of this thing. I went back to all my photos of when I took the Albenza and had the "movement" and it's hard to believe that it's not something more... lurking under the skin. The human mind is an amazing thing. We want to be logical and when something doesn't make any sense, we make it logical for fear of being "different" or "weird" or "conspiratorial".

God, I swear there was something more to the movement and pain I endured. The question is, will we ever know? Maybe the logical bubble we all live in is the place to be. Maybe living like this is the only way to live sanely. Since I have subconsciously forgotten the weirdness and focused on something logical, my mind can handle things more. Or, maybe it's because I have stopped all treatment and am ignoring any weirdness that gets me by.

Default Polly is on the Lyme disease idea

Polly has the lyme disease idea, so everything will be related to lyme, as if I was locked on Prion disease, FIBER disease's.

Which if you look, itching and fiber is so common now you can say ANYTHING and it would relate.

Want a more accurate line of thought, google any of these items with fibrous before it, fibrous, eye, lung, heart, liver, skin, cyst, tumor, lesion google fibrous material disease, diabeties, heart disease, and if you like after that you can google all of the disease with ITCHING.

MY contention, no matter what the EMERGING DISEASE, they have fibrous material involved, some may call it granulomas, just take a peek.

Diabeties, hmmm, fibrous material, just read, you do not have to thank me,

if you look hard enough you will see almost all disease on the rise is connected to material that is fibrous.

Oh I have to show you the situation in the formation of fibrous material.

Then you can not imagine what you see only what you imagine. WOOPS

Alzheimers, really, alzheimers has fibers related, OMG ain't that somthing.

My opinion is that this base infection is lyme with coinfections, some which are parasidic. There is evidence that ticks and other vectors not only transmit the lyme spirochete bacteria, but also nematodes. You start with lyme, build up large amounts of biofilm, which may or may not attract other bacteria, fungus. Etc. and possibly a bite from an infected insect transmits yet another infection. I see it as entirely possible.

The twitching, though, is a symptom of lyme disease.

It's quite well documented that M comes from a single life form,id unknown. We can see it,be aware of it's appearance, understand it's makeup, the damage has been documented, certain facts are known such as no cells,no nucleic acid.We know a lot about where m comes from but not what it is or where it's going.Dr Wymore has isolated the life form but can't id it.He speculates that it may be ET.We need to stop focusing on what may or may not be the cause as we know what causes M but we don't know how to classify it or how it lives and dies, provided it dies which is an unknown at this point.Lyme may be M but M isn't Lyme.Misdiagnosis of Lyme is quite prevelant due to poor testing and tests for lyme.Haver you not seen the "organism"? For now we are trying to establish how it moves and what method it uses to destroy tissue and cells of life forms already here and known.Knowing how and when to kill it is what I am focusing on as ID isn't possible by me.I don't like to fly in spaceships to do research.
