| I just wanted to ask does everyone here suffer with acne? I've only recently started getting acne along the jawline and chin. I never got spots in my teens I've always had clear skin, its only started approx 3 months and i'm extremely self conscious about it now.. So what i am asking is acne associated with M? |

Am I right or wrong. ![]() The new year is coming I have already women a paused, what else can I give up. Someone said I should give up telling the bald faced truth, I don't know but being on womenopause, it is making me cranky. |

I have had one relationship attempt with this junk - FAIL after 2 months (but not from M.) needless to say it is not something I look forward too talking about with any man.........single moms are a tough enough subject without broaching the fact that my bed resembles a kitty litter box every morning and my Dr. Thinks I am nuts!!.........given the fact that those conversations alone will have my date screaming for the check.......I'm on menopause too LOL. Maybe Morgies should make their own dating site.......FuzzieMingle FiberFlings.....I may be onto something brilliant here! ![]() Sue are you sure it is acne or is that what you have been told? One of the symptoms I deal with is bumps that come up on my face, when my symptoms first started I thought it was acne so I would squeeze them but quickly found that nothing came out but clear fluid or a tiny bit of puss and then they opened up into lesions!! If this sound like what you have DON'T SQUEEZE THEM!! I started leaving them alone and then found that he sand filament that comes out of my pores or the fibers were usually the culprit under the bumps and leaving them alone, though un comfortable, helped me avoid the lesions because the filament comes out on it's own eventually. |

I am going to go back to the doctor and ask him to prescribe the doxycycline i have researched a good bit on that.. But how do i get my doctor to give it to me? I don't think they are too keen to prescribe things we ask for.. But I pray he does and I pray it helps, I can't handle breaking out every day of the week with these their sore as well as making me extremely self conscious.. I don't squeeze them as much as i want to because it just takes too long to heal then. Thanks for your replies Sue x |

| suef, with you, 23 is too young for menapause, have you seen a derm yet? whatever you DONT mention morgellons. polly. this is what i learned by trial by error over time, i guess you could say. lately because ive got cancer in my overies and need them removed, ive been doing research on that.( im 44 female) i havent hit menapause just yet but the more i learn about the enlarged overies and cancer, menapause has a lot of symptoms related to the morgs. now, does everyone have morgs because of menapause? of course not, like the poster that is 23, she doesnt have menapause clearly. by the way, men DO go through a type of menapause, but its not the same as a woman, its more like our bodies change about 3 times in our lives. puberty our bodies change for breeding. menapause when women are done breeding.then some hit the third stage with is the alzheimers when were seniors, but not all seniors get that. but anytime our bodies go through a change, it touches every part of us. again, im NOT saying menapause is morgellons, what i am saying is that maybe a lot of women may be mistaking perimenapause with morgs, maybe we can rule out a few morgs cases if the docs would bother looking into this. morgs is different, way worse, i know when my zits are zits just because ive always paid very close attention to things like that, my morgs zits are not like acne zits thats why different meds( creams) need to be used. its just a trial and error thing, i know what my body tells me, most times, but im still learning. thats why i ask tons of questions.it may annoy people but i dont care because i know somebodys got the answer, they just dont know it yet. i take a little bit from most people i talk to, the things that make sense and apply to me, i try. ive also never ever gone to extremes like some people have, some say cleaning is overboard but ive always had a clean house since i was born. my skin biopsys said alergic to bugs, not much more. my derm and even my female family members never bothered to tell me that some of my symptoms are normal for perimenapause, it wasnt until this cancer thing came up that i started to research womens health. i didnt expect menapause till i was at least in my 50s, but some symptoms like the acne, the hair growing on my face, the 'one day superman, next day bedridden' are symtoms of overies/menapause problems. and it can happen as early as late 30s for some women. ive noticed that most morgs sufferers are middle aged women. but not all. i dont have all the answers and im basicly only looking for answers to fix myself, im just passing along tips that work for me in case they work for someone else here. morgs is a long time off from being cured, but i think that we need to first isolate each symptom to rule out other things. acne could be stress, are you haveing changes in your period? if yes, thats a female thing more than a morgs thing. make sense? acne could be a plant or detergent your alergic to.acne alone with no other symptoms, id have to say is just acne. but acne with facial hair on a woman, thats a menapause/female health thing. now is it acne zit or a boil? or a moveable lump of something under the skin? when i get the morgs, its like an octopus under my skin. it reaches like roots of a tree all over, but there is one main lump.this lump does not bleed.( ill first put diaper rash cream to see if air holes pop up.if they do, its morgs. i poke it with a needle ,soak tweezers and needles in peroxide, and see if it tries to move. if it 'pops' up close to the spot im touching, its morgs. thats how i know its morgs. if its a zit, it will have a little blood. if blood shows, i leave it alone. morgs will have no blood come out of my skin, even when im picking them out with tweezers... its crazy aint it?

| My Morgs "zits" are a bit different than what Jane describes but still very clearly Morgs. She is right, if you go to a derm DO NOT MENTION Ms!! It is a straight shot for you into the nut basket in that Dr's mind the moment you utter the M word and you won't get the help you need so play along with the acne thing and maybe just say a friend had wonderful luck with the Doxycyline My bumps are hard and painful like the deep core zits but unlike Jane my skin will bleed like the ****ens with Morgs bumps and generally not when squeezing real zits. When I pull out one of the white Morgan slivers with tweezers, if it is one of the longer ones or deeply rooted it will often bleed profusely from the hole it leaves behind. If I am lifting a morg scab they are often clear, cloth like and have tons of the white slivers attached to them, if the slivers are not deep they will not bleed at all and lift out easily, the skin underneath is red and a bit raw but feels MUCH better after lifting that scab away and allowing it to breath. One of the consistencies with my symptoms is that my skin has become tissue paper thin, tears or scraped very easily and bleeds like crazy. |
