Polly, there is a new, more accurate test for Lyme which TCM mentioned in another post. I'm not sure where you can get it or if it's available yet. Most people get tested at Igenex because they are more accurate but most insurance doesn't cover it. I am having it done and it is going to cost me $200. My doctor wants to put me on antibiotics for 2 weeks prior to the test because he said that it brings out the infection in the blood and can be seen easier.

That sounds good, Meagan. Please post the results of your test when you get it. I guess if my doctor does the test and it's negative, I'll pursue other testing options.
