I have seen this before, BUT it is kinda like very similar situation isn't it. A quote from the article, notice the word LATE STAGE FIBERS. In contrast, most microscopy of digital dermatitis has focused on associated pathogens and histology rather than the morphology of late-stage filamentous fibers

| Yeah I think this topic has come through on my google alerts before but thought I would pass it on anyway. For those of you interested in keeping up with news related to morgellons, or whatever, you can use google alerts and you will get an email anytime a new article is published on the web, it works great. Just google "google alerts"

symptoms may be close but I"m friends with a pathologist that teaches vet medicine and he has been researching M in cattle for 7yrs and understands that fibers and sphirocetes are two totally different pathogens.

Nobody has a clear defination of what causes this disease but that is not really what the article said, it said, That Morgellons and this bovine disease may be linked to the spirocetes. scabdragger, I am pretty sure you can not with your microscope see spirocetes, if you can it is with high power light source, most likely using die, a slip cover, lens oil on 1200 power, if at all. spirocetes are very very tiny Lyme disease and bartonellosis

I feel bad for the animals that get this. They are so helpless. But if that's what is forcing people to finally take notice, then good. Its funny(not really), how the animals will probably get treatment before us because they're not considered delusional idiots. And once again we'll be forced to take medicine made for animals and not humans. Whatever works, right? I'll even sit next to the cow and wait for my dose.
