| Has anyone who has suffered w/ M for a while noticed a pattern for contagiousness? I shed lots of lint/dust and fibers. I am worried about my elderly parents. |

| Many members will tell you that "M" is contagious, but my personal experience says it is not. I've had "M" for a long time & none of my friends, family or "loves" have developed the symptoms. BO will argue a different point and I respect his opinion. In the white light, ~jonsi

| Thanks Jonsi I am pretty sure I caught mine from bugs...I go to UC Berkeley and was on this grassy lawn...a creek runs under the grass and so its often muddy...the creek starts on a hill where a HUGE nanotech faciltiy is I would be devastated to transmit it to my folks but my mom is quite ill with a weak immune system |

| I sometimes believe my 13 month old son has the disease, about 85% of the time I'm sure he has it, there's only a 15% part of me that thinks he may not. It's the one thing that torments me the most! I panic daily over the thought I may have infected him! |

Could be if you have a compromised immune system you're more likely to get it. I was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease years ago, but it only flairs up once in a long while. Last edited by Prickles; December 5th, 2011 at 01:23 PM. |

| I was wondering if all the dust that gathers on and in our computer processor cases might have something to do with the critters. My next step is to put some of this dust under the microscope and have a look see, if it looks anything like the samples I've gathered off my skin, I'll have some idea what's attracting them. Anything is worth a try at this point. Also it might be a good idea to vaccum this dust rather than blow in out with an air can. |

| The reason for my thinking is, my son's itching started right after he opened up an Xbox that he had in for repairs. He said, a cloud of dust rose from it and landed on him. Eureka! His itching has continued ever since.!! |

| These are some of my samples, they are tiny black specks to the human eye, but they itch. Most of these were gathered off my face. Morgelleons pictures by Eboya - Photobucket Last edited by Prickles; December 5th, 2011 at 01:21 PM. |
