Default Please help: pseduo hair on eyelashes and scalp

Hi,

My eyelashes and a portion of my head hair have turned a deep black (I have auburn hair) and increased in staticisity...this has been after I lost most of my eyelashs and hair.

I am worried about my eyes: a months ago I couldn't wear contacts; my eyes would burn as soon as the lense touched them. Then my eyelids started swelling terribley-->broken capiliaires-->eyelashes fell out-->new "eyelashes"-the base where they connect to skin is larger and dark, some of the eyelashes are non-colored...small bumps on lids that produce white fibers (after borax bathing)

I was stupid and pulled some eyelashes. DO they grow back? Must I remove all of psuedo hairs in order to heal??

To heal must I remove all these psuedo hairs?

Novemberain,

The hairdo thing is kinda a dilemma.

One man or woman, man can get away with being bald, simple, call yourself a skinhead, get a tattoo or wear a hat, LOL.

I did notice as time went by that the gay male community started with this idea of bald heads before anyone else, this gave me a chance at seeing all the involvement on the most risked part of our population.

The gay community, anyway the bald men, had red spots on their heads and usually the back of the neck into the hairline was the worst are usually for anyone with this.

When I look others over for involvement the back of the neck almost always will show results, more so in young men now then older men, do not take my word for it, LOOK with your own eyes.

The reason they could do this was more than likely to be able to spread antibiotics or steroids directly on their head, truly men are also going bald much at a earlier age now.

If you are a woman which I would imagine from your handle November rain, then a short fuzzy haircut would more than suffice for ease of treatment with anything.

I would NOT cut your hair because you think it is bugs bothering you,

I believe bug are a phobia, as there is no mass of people talking about or presenting the same type of bug, people here will blame all bugs, I believe because they itch.

I also believe the issue of bed bugs is a big lie, started to cover the spread of this disease.

I could be wrong but I itched so bad at one time I could have used a garden hoe to scratch to the bone with it.

I would stick a car key in my ear and really dig, it was so bad at one point I could not go to sleep.

When I laid down the itching would go VIRAL.

You know this question is going to send me to a gay man site and find out what they do for this.

Ill be back.

I cut mine too. It became easier to treat. My head is clear. Nizerol shampoo helped tons.

I found the use of an electric robicomb (used for lice) on dry hair helpful before shampooing. I also used a silicone based lice treatment in my hair and scalp (only used four times). This was when I was first sick and it helped tremendously to remove whatever was alive in my scalp (looked like gray shaped commas, much larger than lice would be). Others here have also mentioned using the robicomb with good effect. It used to be sold at Walmart for less, but as with many things since this depression started does not seem to be stocked there anymore. I never had to cut off all my hair since I used this treatment early on.

There is a lot of discussion about the scalp and suggested member treatments here:

thank you for the advice.

This is what I have noticed:
area is itchy then hair follicle looks larger then there is a black dot in the hair follicle then possible a compound hair then hair falls out and the new hair is black and not smooth/silky like a normal hair...
do all the "fake" hairs need to be removed? My eyelashes have transformed and it is scarey.

I will tell you what I have done and all I can say is it worked for me. I baught ESP shampoo once and used it, my scalp got in good enough condition to dye my hair ( something I didn't do for a long time) but I can't stand grey hair. I know that hair dyes are not a great thing, but I do it any way. My choice.
Well low and behold no more problems with scalp. I didn't plan on this, but it worked out for me. I guess the chemicals in the hair dye killed my problem.
In no way am I advocating dying your hair, but telling you what worked for me.

As far as the eyelashes, I put a small amount of vasaline on them a night and on my eyebrows too.

So we all have to make informed choices, weighing the pro and cons and proceed from there.
