| So Ive come to the conclusion I have these things too. Found a fiber on my futon tonight and I swear it latched on the edge of my finger and I could see it slowly wiggle. I found this info online awhile ago but just didnt want to believe this was it. I have had an infection and been sick for 3 weeks. Just went to the ER today and had all sorts of tests done due to serious fatigues, a hot flash feeling, sinus/ear issues among others and they found nothing. So now I am convinced this is it. I am worried to death because my parents insisted on coming to my house to check out what I was telling them. My Dad was even itching as well yet claims its dust and dust mites. As others have posted the worst part of this is affecting others. If my family comes down with this I am going to feel HORRIBLE. What am I to do? I am scared I am going to lose my job and end up with nowhere to go. You see victims popping up constantly daily yet not a single health department will acknowledge it. Please help everything I have tried has worked maybe 24 hours tops. I am losing my mind, please god help us all!!! |

| I am so sorry that you are going through this. I hate to see how many new sufferers there are everyday but you have come to the right place. There is a lot of info here as well as very supportive people who have been where you are right now including myself. I think the worst part is not knowing if it's contagious and the guilt that comes with the idea of possibly infecting others. I can tell you that no one really knows if it's contagious or not but we do know that it is everywhere in the environment. If someone you love was going to get it, it wouldn't be from you specifically and more than likely, they already have it. I believe that a person has it for years before most symptoms appear and I believe that the immune system is a big factor. I know what it feels like to find out and the guilt that comes along with it but please try not to stress too much because that will only make matters worse. There is a treatment section of this forum that is very helpful. Click on the Home button and you should find it. There is no cure but there are ways to help with the symptoms. I hope this helps. Hang in there... you are not alone. |

| Hello trz, I am sorry too, that you are going through this. I was very upset when I first figured out that I had Morgellons --I had searched everywhere I could to try to figure out what was wrong. One-by-one I ticked off all the things that it could not possibly be, and the only thing that remained on the list after looking for five months, was Morgellons. I realized after a while that it was very normal to be upset. But I also realized that being stressed made it worse; made it harder to rest and sleep, and taxed my immune system. The biggest thing that helped was the information in the link below. Living with Morgellons-Treatment Suggestions The second biggest thing that helped was talking to people and emailing people who also have Morgellons. This site was a Godsend........ I literally poured over it night after night. It was the only thing that kept me on an even keel for a long while. FINALLY! I did not feel alone, abandoned and so afraid. I kept coming back again and again. Each time I learned more, and I have friends here that compare with no other friends I have ever made anywhere else. Please come back and talk to people, trz. Ask questions, read the threads, post something; reply to a thread that is already going or start one yourself. Newbies Guide There are people here who care about you very much. | This is not a cliche, in all seriousness the mind is the most powerful tool you have to fight this parasite, it thrives on stress and negative thought, try hard to keep a positive outlook and get plenty of sleep in order to keep your immune system strong. Reaching out to members here is good, there are plenty of good folks here that want to help and most can relate to whatever it is your experiencing. Lastly, the symptoms run in waves and just when you think you can take no more you will find relief and hope is renewed.

| You are absolutely correct Steve. This all started as I have been stressed over my job for a few months, working 60+ hours a week. House had gotten pretty dirty over this time and I also had been a chronic marijuana smoker up until 3 weeks ago. I believe this combo is what weakened my immune system and led to me getting infected. Then again maybe this setting in fueled that fire? I have been taking it easy, cleaned up the house as best I could, stopped smoking MJ. I just want this to go away. Does anyone else see the tiny flying bugs/parasites/whatever the hell they are? I saw very few earlier this week then a few days after full moon and the fibers, flying pests, and symptoms kicked up full swing. Obviously first and foremost I have to build my immune system. Taking Echinacea, Multi-Vitamin, Garlic, Vitamin C, drinking plenty of water, trying to eat no sugars/grains as Ive seen recommended. Feel physical symptoms improving (though the brain fog, muscle spasms come quickly then dissipate throughout the day). Also fueling the fire are panic/anxiety attacks from the MJ withdrawal. Just absolute hell..trying hard to stay even keel and believe I can beat this. Any/all tips are very welcome and I offer an upfront thank you to anyone who provides some. |

| trz, since you asked... I will tell you a little about what really helped me. I have an old tv antenna in my back yard & don't have cable or dish network so I watch very little television. If you can reconnect to music (turn on the radio or play your favorite music) it might help you separate from the fear that tv spreads. "M" feeds on fear in my opinion. Start listening to your favorite music again! Meditating and talking to the "M" helped me too. I know it sounds crazy to say that "M" can understand, but every day I tell the "M" that they are not welcome in my body and must leave now. I light a white candle sometimes which helps with my meditation. Food allergies. I have a wonderful Doctor that desensitized me to the foods I was allergic to and this was a BIG step in fighting off the "Morgs". But not everyone has access to my doc. So I suggest starting a diary, listing the foods you eat and how you feel the next day. (Maybe you are allergic to MJ...?) To everyone, I know that when I joined this site I started feeling better. This is family here! Welcome to the family ![]() In the white light. ~jonsi
