| It surprises me how little response my posts get here now! This forum has become very quiet. I just hope its because people have got better. As to the above link - it's a fair enough response. But they actually invited him to the event it seems - i don't think I've ever seen a PR effort backfire so spectacularly..! That said the conclusion that hey should vet journalists is not necessarily right - but encouraging more balanced reporters with an interest in science/medicine is a good idea.. |

| I agree with most of your comments here. With regards to the vetting of any journalists, well it's the Midwest and they are sometimes quite insular in their views in that neck of the woods. They also seem overly fond of exclamation points in their replies to express indignation and disagreement with that journalist's views. Still it would seem a good idea to investigate what other articles have been published by any invited journalist to determine which way the wind is blowing before inviting anyone to cover the conference next year. No point in inviting trouble. These days I believe this is an oxymoron: balanced reporter quote=Ahopeful;84219] As to the above link - it's a fair enough response. | Hi Ahopeful ![]() Yes, I am better, pretty much "M" free. It would help to highlight what is important to you in the links you post. There are so many links and I don't have the time to read them all. Like what did you find in the "worst of the worst" that piqued your interest? I'm interested, but have a teenager, homework (ugh), work full time, like the outdoors, hippy mntn chick. Thank you! I am still very interested & concerned about "M". I want to help anyone who is going through this nightmare. If info can be condensed it would be a great help. In the white light, ~jonsi

| Jonsi, the link ahopeful posted is one you might want to take time to read for yourself (even if all you can read is one paragraph at a time) as it is an excellent rebuttal for all the lies about M which were posted in the original Will Storr's Guardian article that we all read in some frustration and anger after the last Morgellon's conference. This rebuttal is long overdue, but I hope next time that the person who wrote it will omit all the exclamation points which are overused and detract from what was said. It also makes the paper look somewhat less professional. quote=jonsi;84230] Hi Ahopeful Yes, I am better, pretty much It would help to highlight what is important to you in the links you post There are so many links and I don't have the time to read them all.
