| I have read several posts both here and at LB. I believe the person at LB is Mari, but I can't remember whom the name is here, perhaps Meagan? Are these people one and the same? Not that it matters, except I would like to know whether we have two miserable teenagers or one. I'd like to put together a thread for these people with suggestions from all of us so we can help these miserable teens. I can't imagine them suffering anything like what I did. How's about some observations of what you thought was causing your itching. Perhaps something will strike a chord for these mothers in which they can further investigate. I know when the non-stop 24/7 itching started, it was a horrfic roller coaster. I had gone through a series of mast cell reactions, anaphalaxis reactions, and my histamine was way out of control. I then progressed into a cytokine storm. And then came the hundreds of horrible, craters of burning, simmering, hell. One of the first things I was instructed to do was to clean out my intestines, and many supplements. Knowing what I know now, I would also add kefir right after doing. Then there were those to get a hold of the cytokines, and quiet them down. In the beginning, I had only found relief when using a lotion I made with MSM, and now I realize this is a methyl donor and is probably why my body responded so favorably. Which is one of the leading reasons for me starting methylation almost a year ago. I have heard many benefiting from salt baths, of which were so incredibly painful to me, I couldn't do them, and they made me itch so much more. I have also heard many use epsom salts, of which I found I could do in the beginning stages of this, but as things progressed, those baths made me so very sick. I was having problems with sulfates, but at the time didn't recognize it as such. I only knew it took me about three days to recover from the exposure and I was absolutely bed-ridden by those baths. I guess I should of asked this in the beginning, but do these teenagers have lesions? Is itching the only problem or does brain fog exist? Changes in vision? Huge mood swings, rage, depression? So many questions to ask. Its so incredibly difficult with kids, because they aren't always good at describing how they feel enough to base decisions on. And for pete's own sake, we sure don't want to suggest something that might do them harm, as kids are so very different than adults, especially in dosage and reaction. So if we could relay our experiences and why we feel it helped us, perhaps this in turn may help those kids and their moms looking to comfort them. Thinking of them.... Frito |

| Frito, it's very kind of you to think of others kids. I'm not the one with the teen but my son is 10 and going through some of the things you described. I fear when he starts to go through puberty that it will get worse with raging hormones like many other mother's here so any suggestions would be great. Like you said, it's difficult treating children and it has not been easy to find things that will not harm him. He doesn't have lesions yet but he does have a rash and a circle of bumps on his cheeks with the white stuff underneath that will not go away. When he sweats at school and his face turns red, you can actually see the white network under his cheeks. It breaks my heart. I have been using acne pads and coconut oil and it seems to help a little. For his hair which itches him often, he uses the Organix Tea Tree Mint conditioner every time he showers and his hair is very, very short... military style. I give him a multivitamin and probiotic gummies for kids for internal and have tried Humaworm for kids but he got too sick after the first two weeks and had to stop. I have stopped all foods with GMO and started giving him only organic fruits and veggies. This is expensive but I quit smoking to make up for the costs. I figured his health is more important than my addiction. I don't buy junk food but occasionally, I will make him homemade things like cookies as a special treat. We've reduced his sugar intake but he is a kid and misses it so when we do treat him, everything is made from scratch with no preservatives. Even when I'm not feeling good, I force myself to make him healthy meals. His favorite thing is strawberry and blueberry smoothies made with pure water, ice, organic fruits and even organic vanilla yogurt. I figure it is a good detox as well. That's about all I do and I still don't think it's enough. I can see this crap growing like crazy under his skin and watch as the fibers float off him daily. He complains of aches and pains and yesterday told me that his eyes are getting blurry. He had perfect vision at his appointment last year. I see him progressing to where I am today and that scares me. If anyone has any suggestions on how to slow this thing down for his age, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for starting this thread. BTW, how do you make the MSM lotion? Do you think it would be safe to use on kids? Last edited by MeaganM; August 18th, 2011 at 09:12 PM. |

| Frito and Megan,I've seen children as young as 18mths. with a total infestation.Kids are tough but this thing really brings them down. The constant itching is hell for all of us and is hard to combat.Yes,the salt baths with table salt are terribly painful but very little else seems to work.I've been using wet table salt on my lesions and it works really great but oh so painful. Here is a pic of the culprit that is responsible for all the discomfort. You have probably already seen it but here it is and yes I'm certain as to it's being responsible for all this hell. This is what is everywhere here in the enviroment. The thing in pics 04-05 are of the organism that unfolds and looks almost flat.It is the primary cause of all this.It has the black fiber on it's underside. How it bites us is a hard to answer question. It certainly can go down a hair shaft and and take over the hair follicle and cause much misery. |

| Meagan, You mentioned your son turning red. I think you may want to ask more questions about that occurence. Are there certain times he turns red? Does his whole face turn red? Cheeks look like they are on fire? Body turn red? Can you leave a hand print on his back by patting him? Can you write words in his skin? When he turns red, does he get a headache? Brain foggy, forgetful, agitated, sleepy... I know with my son, the above were all true. And what we have been finding in him, are possible histamine disregulation, dermatographia, and ammonia issues. I know people, including me, are very cautious about giving advice about children and teens. I feel more comfortable helping you look and ask questions, rather than making straight out recommendations. I know others will pop in sooner or later with their own questions. Frito |

| It may be better to use pickling salt rather than table salt which has additives: 12) ®Table Salt be used for canning vegetables? Morton® Iodized Salt contains potassium iodide, dextrose to stabilize the iodide and calcium silicate which is an anti-caking agent. This product is fine for baking, cooking and for the table. However, because the anti-caking agent in this product is not water-soluble, we do not recommend this salt for some canning recipes as the calcium silicate may settle at the bottom of the jar. Morton® Canning and Pickling Salt is a pure granulated salt which does not contain potassium iodide, dextrose or an anti-caking agent. In other words, it does not contain any additives. This salt product can be used in cooking, baking, canning, pickling and for the table. Please note that since there is no anti-caking agent added to Morton® Canning and Pickling Salt, it may form lumps in humid weather or if exposed to moisture. This product is available in four-pound boxes and can be found in your local grocery store. Back to mortonsalt.com/faqs/food_salt_faq.html#q12 Also some folks use pure pool salt (just make sure it is the kind which has no other additives, mortons makes one and I think other companies do too, not up on this as I do not have a pool)

| Skabdraggr, those are really good pics and it explains what I have seen under my own skin. When I took the antiparasitic, I had many 2-line indentations in the skin but there was one that wouldn't go away in my forearm. It was a definite indentation that extended the whole length of my forearm and it literally moved up my arm to my thumb, spit out the white fiber stuff, and went back but stayed indented. I know it sounds crazy but I have pictures of this happening. When it would move to my thumb, I could feel a pull wrapped around my elbow to my shoulder as if it was attached there. I have had problems with this shoulder and elbow for years. I just wonder if these things have some kind of long tail or something that attaches to one spot kind of like an umbilical cord, allowing it to move around. Sorry to get off subject but when scab talked about the flat thing, it reminded me of what happened to me after taking the Albenza. Frito, I pick him up from school right after recess when he's playing in the sun and 100 degree weather so I'm assuming the redness is from the heat. It's only in his face and it's the only time I've ever noticed it but mentioned it because when this happens, I can really see the white under his skin. Does not every kid get red in the face after being in the heat and running around? If not, please let me know and I will mention it at his next doctor's appointment. Thanks again. |

| My daughter started showing signs of "M" when she was 9 (4 years ago). She & I are healthy now. Pay attention to what your kids eat. Take control & don't let them eat junk food!!!! Fast food chains suck. Even the expensive food chains like Applebies, Red Lobster, etc... As parents we can control what our kids eat. I pack my daughter's lunch every morning so she doesn't have to eat the GMO cafeteria food. The only soap we use is Miracle II soap (as a shampoo, body soap, everything soap). My daughter is acne free. I need advice on how to get my daughter to want to get better grades! itwl, ~jonsi

| I had the tunnels under my facial skin and a large one that went from my crown to my forehead where something would run like a tadpole through water, from the front of my head to the rear of my head. These things under the skin surface spit out the fibers that make the patterns under the surface of our skin.I had a live one do this while under the scope.I t covered it's entire body with the white fibers that were being spit out. There is definitely movement with these things, and they are in our great outdoors. |

| My son, Chris has it. He is 16. A couple of days ago he saw me plucking out some of the white hairs on my head and asked me if I wanted some help. (what a sweetie). He told me he has some of those hairs too. First time he ever offered any information regarding morgellons. Anyways, I checked and sure enough he has them. Hard to tell on him, his hair color is sandy blonde so they don't stand out like mine do. It appears that his scalp hasn't been taken over by the white hairs from hell either. Thank God. Long time ago, maybe 8 months ago he did say he was itchy, but that is it. I ask him frequently how he feels, is he itchy? Does he feel extra tired at times, or experiencing any kind of pains or soreness? He says no to all and seems to be willing to accept having morgellons, but not concerned with it. I am not sure how to address this subject with him in more detail without scaring him or pushing him away. Right now he is willing to hear about it. I don't want to say or do anything might make him keep quiet about it. He is such a good, sweet hearted kid and I know he doesn't like me to worry about him. Ghettogirl |
