Default I have a serious question-Tobacco

In all seriousness, putting all kidding aside; why does every/anyone think cigarettes are legal?

Why is poison sold over the counter to ppl who are 18 yrs. of age to injest within themselves ?

More tax money?

Die early and save on Social Security?

Here's another picture that has something wrong with it.

Most Social Workers will say that tobacco and alcohol are worse than heroin.

Now this is worth debating and having opinions.

I often wondered if cigarettes are a part of M and those who don't smoke get it from second hand smoke. I've known a lot of people who have died of lung cancer and never smoked in their lives.

The government has been trying to ban smoking for years but the tobacco industry is too powerful and pays a lot of money to Congress and state representatives. All they can do is ban smoking in public areas which they are doing. Personally, I believe it would take away our rights and freedom and everything that is America if the Government banned smoking. If someone wants to do it, then they have the right to do it as long as they are courteous of others who don't. What the government should do though is prevent the tobacco industry from putting into the cigarette whatever they want. I have been trying to quit for years and it's very difficult because I believe they have added more addictive chemicals over the years so people can't stop.

Just my two cents...

I am a tobacco addic. I,ve spent a lot more than two cents on it so I can give way more than just my two cents worth.( Just being a wag) First the gov had never once tried to ban tobacco. They did suceed in regulating it through the FDA 4 years ago. Since then nothing has changed. The purpose was to have fuller advertising control over the product. Word was they would force the companies to show pics of desieased lungs on the pack. Canada took it a step further and showed pics of aborted and dead fetuses on the package. Human rights groups got involved over that one. Now those packs are collecters items.
So much for cleaning up that baby.
Yes tobacco is a poison my body knows it and sometimes makes me violently sick. Nicotine posining.
Does this relate to morgellons. Maybe. I know fungus loves tar and nicotine uses it as a binder and receptor to take foot hold , and grow. In fact Blue Mold rarely grows in the wild on anything except tobacco, mold is a type of fungus. And it loves shell oil. Energy empires are just now looking into using it as a way of keeping oil pipes clean from it. As a backwards binder in some scientific way. Figure that one.
Love ya guys and gals, keep up the good posting.
Well I just had to say all that din,t I.

First remember I'm not arguing Megan, that's most important to me.

but the tobacco industry is too powerful and pays a lot of money to Congress and state representatives

Isn't that the same as the government being in it for the money? As well, I'll bet there are alot in Congress whom have stock in tobacco companies. I heard once what the Clintons had stock in but I can't remember what what it was. I do remember it was not a good thing and that it shiocked me.

Don't you think alot of people are in bed with "big tobacco" as well as "big pharma"?

All the things which end up coming out like Weiner and his Tweet stuff. How often has this happened. It's nearly like it's the norm now. Pretty soon people will become accustomed to it and there will be no shame.

Sorry, I got off track there a bit but it seems like it's always one thing or another that's deceptive.

The government regulates what food can be cooked in in a restaurant now don't they? How can they ban some things and leave cigs. on market.

btw, I am a smoker tooi.

I agree Posey, that's why it will never be banned because too many powerful people are invested. Of course, they sleep well at night by making sure that the public knows how bad it is for you while adding more additives to keep you hooked. BTW, I put a patch on today. Wish me luck!

Good luck Megan I do wish you well.I mean it to. Patch and all.
But you,re wrong its not about power or money even, Its addiction and the ones that have it, The powers could outlaw it at any time. Smokers rights have gone downhill. In my town we can,t even smoke in a "For smokers only bar. Outlawed. So we all stay outside where the company is and smoke and drink. Ok I rarely go there. My freind does tho. I do my drinking at home.
Non smokers never go there so there is no one inside at the stools that used to be full. The cleanest air is inside the building that no one uses. No people either. Except for matron(lady) running back and forth to pull another beer or drink to take outside under a shelter. She gets a lot more excerisise for it. Tip jar is nailed to a post outside now. Its almost like we are banned from in the building without a smoke.

Default Hi guys

I am a heavy smoker. My husband (anti smoker) believes this could be part of the problem. He doesn't have morgellons.
I never smoke in the house, one reason I really enjoy my garden.

Posey I think a lot of you gal. I always have. I,ve seen your pics with the rust coming from your face. I,m glad you are still with us.Spending your time and effort here. I mean every word of it to. I have no right in this disease to ever speak against you.(Just letting it be known) and I never will. You lady are good of soul, spirit, and seeming sound of mind.
But of course the gov is in everything for money, its called taxation. Not even our air is free or water either. Ever heard of the "Clean air act, or even Clean water act.. Congress of 1972 inacted the clean air act. That takes money (your money if you pay taxes) not a fresh breath of air (if there still is one) is free anymore. We all pay through our collective noses. Yes money.
