Mayo In Rochester,MN Research Invite Received

I was gonna wait till I read the whole package but I received an invitation form Mayo Clinic in Rochestter, MN to take part in Fibromyalgia Research.

I will post about it more after I have read it all, but talk about getting your foot in the door!

No I am not. I think that would be a huge mistake. I finally read it all and for now it is a 3 page questionnaire and saying if I want to be on their Fibromyalgia Registry.

Of course I have to sign away some of my rights then so they can use any information I give in their studies.

Think I need to read the Consent for Disclosure form again but I think that is legit. They don't even use your name, only medical info.

LOL, I am quite sure they know about the fiber material, how can you use a microscope and not see it, LOL.

This should be very interesting indeed, you can make friends with the people in the study don't tell them either, that is untill its all over.

up, per MapQuest:

1 hour 23 mins / 81.63 miles. I knew ir was close to 90. But that is not far at all. I am going to send it all in and sign up. I have a feeling it may be just questionnaires via US mail. I hope not.

I have to fill out a 3 page questionnaire and sign the Health Disclosure form. I don't think that is a big deal, I think it is just so they can share my stuff with other Drs.
