Default my nice thick hair

I have just noticed in the last month my hair has changed. It seems like it is not really my hair more like straw. Even the last week when I got it cut the hair dresser asked me what is going on. she called another p;erson too look at it when she was washing it. I guess the morgs have taken this part of me also. sammy

That happened to me almost immediately. I had fine hair with a very smooth texture without using conditioners. So smooth it wouldn't stay in clips, scrunchies or stay on the curling iron. Almost overnight it became a rats nest. It felt awful when it was wet, matting together in ways I wouldn't expect human hair to act. I've improved it over several months by doing the following:

Jason's tea tree shampoo with added tea tree oil and, if you have greasiness on your scalp like I do, a little antibacterial Dawn.

Massage it in and let it sit for 5-10 minutes or until you finish your shower.

Rinse, and use Jason's tea tree and lavender conditioner with extra tea tree oil. Let that sit for 3-5 minutes before rinsing.

To detangle, spray with Johnson & Johnson's No More Tangles or similar kid's detangler. WalMart makes one that's cheaper.

I found that with the morg "texture", it takes a lot more shampoo and conditioner. I have long hair and keep it tied up. Using probably a 1/4 cup of each with 3-5 drops of tea tree oil mixed in and a teaspoon of antibacterial Dawn in the shampoo.

JASON'S DID NOT PAY ME TO SAY THIS, BUT THEY CAN IF THEY WANT!! I'M KEEPING THEM IN BUSINESS!

Sojii,

Just in case you hadn't noticed I started a whole thread about member treatments for the scalp where folks shared what they used to treat that area of the body, including the hair. Some posts were recopied by me from other threads to gather them into one area, but they are authored by many different posters. Other posters also added new posts now and then. There's never been any question that I am aware of with run of the mill posting such as your post here. I believe Jason's tea tree oil shampoo was mentioned by more than one poster on that thread too. So sweet of you to show concern for sammy by sharing what works for you here. It is a problem that troubles many with morgs symptoms.

Unfortunately two organ areas of the body are affected by morgs IMHO from what I understand of TCM. Those are the liver and also the kidneys along with the proper flow of blood in the body which again probably slows in many people (called blood stasis). All this affects the quality of the hair and the quantity of hair growth.

So "sweet" of me??? tcm, maybe I've had too much limeade, but that post sounded patronizing. Sammy posted; I responded. Simple.

This is not always about TCM. There are other posters here who don't follow TCM and I'm not aware of MDR having become a strictly TCM forum. It's highly unlikely that a practically-overnight change is from organ damage. Some of these critters spin little knots in the hair and shred the hair shaft.

So sorry Sammy; looks like we've been duly chastized. We should have gone to the scalp treatments thread. And let that be a lesson to you!

You know Sojii, I don't care if you ever read one post on that thread or any other thread. I was only using it that to illustrate the fact that normal posting about regular products is not the issue here, since you are the person insisting that some here have a problem with normal discussion of widely available products. If you want to take it as if it were meant to be patronizing that's your problem.

I did think it was sweet of you answer sammy. Perhaps I chose the wrong word. Would nice be okay with you? Many here lately do not take the time to offer any normal support, as they appear too busy doing otherwise. I suppose when I thanked BO for showing concern for me and told him he was thoughtful that was patronizing too?

No one is forcing you to read any posts about TCM or to learn anything about it whatsoever or care. There are some who are interested so if they are they read and learn. I enjoy sharing, but if you do not want to read about something please do not. Simple.

Sojii no one thinks a small dot of mention of product is a spam shot. Very funny tho.

Sojii, noone's suggesting that your response was anything but a response.

It is kind of sad that no one brings up old threads anymore or jokes around much. You can probably get the idea from the latest male version of another member that got banned. That member was banned too late because we lost so many who were a great help here due to her outbursts. We lost more with the batch of sellers and thieves who came in clumps afterwards. Some were taken for a lot of money and were too embarrassed to return. You might get an idea why those that are left may be less than friendly.

The scalp treatment thread does have a lot of input from members. If you find a new or different way to use an existing product you could add it here too.

Scalp Treatments--Member Suggestions

If you know a product is made with something that has a common allergen or could cause some people problems please don't keep it to yourself either. People here are in a hurry and not thinking clearly. We are so busy dealing with the unknown that we sometimes don't take the time to consider everything. People get in such an uproar over that too and it's just a heads up.

Folks, I've been on this forum for over a year, I think, read it every day - or at least the days when it's operable - and post fairly often. I know how it works. I've contributed to the scalp treatment thread, and in fact, am probably one of the members who mentioned Jason's there.

This constant patrolling of the threads to keep innocent and well-meaning posters in line is petty and counterproductive.
