| im sorry, i just dont buy into the whole chemtrial thing. here in santa maria we have broccoli, cabbage, strawberrys, wineries, the list goes on. and i do know that it wasnt till they BANNED chemicals that these crazy bugs started going crazy and taking over, we got rid of bed bugs years ago, till they banned chemicals that worked. if they dont like what they are putting in the enviorment, they stop stop with this eco friendly crap. if theres chemtrails, its because they changed from the good stuff to the ecofriendly crap! the junk nowadays makes bugs breed like crazy, it doesnt kill them. seems to hurt humans though.. so maybe folks need to do REAL research before they ban and change stuff. when i was a secrity guard, one place i worked was casmalia toxic waste dump. there were squirlls that would come up to me and basicly demand my lunch, ( seriously, they were bold little dudes!) but these squirles were fat and very healthy, the cows grazing were healthy, the coyote i saw running around was healthy,birds,etc... but they have tried for years to close the dump because its 'toxic'...even though cows graze there and are fine. but the kids that live nearby, heard their moms talking and boom, all the sudden tummy aches, cant go to school.. well what kid wont lie to get out of school? yet these animals that actually eat the food, and drink the water are fine.. you tell me..

| I agree with you Jane--I think the environmental movement has gone way too far and we are now paying the piper for some overly zealous bans. Look at the way malaria has spread in third world countries since DDT was banned. While DDT is not totally healthy it is not as bad as it has been portrayed either, especially when you consider the worth of human life. Along with the spread of bugs all over vegetables due to eco-friendly (what a joke, friendly) bans on chemicals has been the spread of parasites and disease on these same foods. I think there's more involved than just that, but won't repeat myself discussing it. Your observations about healthy animals grazing on the dump is interesting, too, as generally animals will avoid anything which is poisonous to them. One thing I do with my cooked TCM herbs is put them on the ground under plants. It is amazing to see the sick animals such as squirrels come up and pick and choose what they need. Also I had a very sick little dog and she used to pick out what she needed to treat herself. Animals are often a lot smarter than we are when it comes to food choices though they do make occasional mistakes such as by eating poisonous weeds sometimes found on grazing lands. The only other time I will say that is not true is when you see birds and sometimes squirrels eating junk food spilled on the ground from McDonald's or other fast food restaurants. Then they often look skinny and unhealthy, sometimes with sparse dull coats or have feathers which are missing. So I think that does say something about the quality of at least the French fries and the white bread and perhaps the rest of fast foods too. Quote:

| there's lots of carcinogenic, mutagenic materials that are not banned. Let's not wind up like that province in China shown in a recent PBS program - - they overdid things on pesticides and killed their bees in one province. now the people there are under a government edict to hand pollinate all the pear trees. the alternative is they don't have a pear crop any more at all. I plant bee-friendly trees and plants while my neighbors spray bee killer stuff all the time - we have big difference in perspective. I buy honey from a local beekeeper - he is insistent bees must be segregated from agricultural areas where pesticide use is overdone and hurt the bees. without the bees we'll all eventually have to ask everyone to do hand pollination or try to breed new pollinators. Sure hope things won't head that way. doubtful the toxic stuff is planned - it's all a factory farming response to demand for more crops, increased food production Quote:

| you can tell the previous guards at the toxic waste dump would feed their linches to the squirels.i was sitting in the guard shack, really quiet there, only 3 trucks rolled in in 8 hours,so im listning to the radio and the squirile walks on in. he stares at me like a mafia squirele waiting for his dinner,he wasnt the least bit scared of me, but wouldnt let me touch him, he just coming in the shack getting on his hind legs like he was looking for my lunch, i had in an igloo ice chest. no fast food anywhere nearby, guards must bring their own food/snakes.si i had the usual, sandwich, chips soda. gave the little dude a chip but he kept coming back till i shared my sandwich with him.. but he didnt sick in the least, an animal that gets close to people sometimes is, but this one was just bossy!! so it was entertaining, being security is usually super boring.i wished i had a camera then. the reason the good chems got banned is stupid people, like the dude that spayed under his house, didnt tell anyone what he was doing, didnt wear protective clothes or a mask, no ventalation, he died.HIS FAULT..too many idiots like that are why they got banned, but as long as all these people now adays are 'lets not kill the bug, we can rehome him' the bugs are gonna take over! they multiply faster than we do.they kill us, and if we dont kill them first, were gonna get the black plaque, the pestilence all that. 'we dont kill bugs, we rehome them'. is stupid!! eco friendly = aphrodiciac for bugs!! people are so stupid, they think that its a good idea to mess with things were not meant to play with, THATS why people are sick and dying...we dont need to geneticly alter a damn thing..nature did just fine all on its own.( sorry spelling, brain only half working today) people want to play God.. thats what it all boils down to

| I'd say the Chinese are a day late and a dollar short when they make attempts to improve a situation they sat there and watched happen. Like hand pollination of a few trees is going to fix anything very much. Factories in China have turned water in rivers into chemical rivers of various colors, polluting the rice and other crops that farmers grow. I read about one area which continues to grow and eat rice turned deep red from chemicals despite the fact that it will shorten the lives of those who eat it as it contains a chemical poison. They know it, but have no choice as that's all they have as a staple. Many in China are very poor, but those of the elite in government have shown little concern about what happens to them (some things never change). Even now China wants Western nations to allow them to put all that pollution from factory smoke stacks into the air with no restrictions whatsoever, meanwhile expecting Western nations to stop everything they are doing, allowing their nations to slide even further into poverty caused by the continuing exportation of factories and jobs to nations which IMO have very little conscience, at least at the highest levels of government. Nothing like an even playing field in countries in which only a few get to prosper. Make the West just the same. Of course Western nations are expected to continue to buy from China, even though many of the products which are manufactured there are not up to good manufacturing standards. I hear complaints that goods formerly made in the US, like say Corning Ware used to last a long time. Evidently this is no longer true and these products easily break when subjected to heat or cold. Meanwhile China is also busy ruining other continents like Africa, strip mining the land and taking expensive precious metals, clear cutting trees which are then shipped back to China. Their biggest export though seems to be their excess population. Pity the folks in Africa who are inviting this into their countries since we all know what happened in Tibet (and continues to happen). Mandatory vaccines & their dangers (permalink 21) So I think I will take my chances is in the US where at least they are not dumping huge amounts of chemicals in the rivers these days. Not yet anyway. Jane has a point, if we have too many bugs for which there are no controls soon we will have more outbreaks of the plague as well as other deadly diseases (like the hantavirus) and no money for medications to treat them (better hope the local herbalist has any knowledge of herbs or that there are any herbs to be had). And we will have no one to blame but ourselves for jumping into the environmental propaganda agenda which is mostly being churned out by the Communist countries. What better way to get rid of people than to expect them to go back to subsistence farming? Anyone with eyes can see how well folks live in areas where that type of "organic" farming is the only choice (Central & South America, India, Africa, China). Sure they may have healthier food, though even that is questionable when you consider the use of night soil to fertilize some of it or untreated animal wastes, but that's only when the crops are good that year. Do not forget the years of drought, more than one in a row, when many people die because there is no food (China has some great stories about this or in English read the novel the Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck). Or that the huge swarms of locusts that blacken the sky right at harvest time will eat everything in sight, the crops, the grass and the leaves on whatever trees there are plus crawl under your doors and cracks in the windows, filling your home with their dead bodies. All that healthy food you were expecting to last through the winter? Gone in less time than it took you to grow it. Oh, yeah, them was the days my friends.
