Morgellons Lyme? i'm just starting to find out

This is my first post, thank-you for having me - i'm going to spend alot of time here reading and chatting and learning, as i think i'm getting to the bottom of what is going with me.

I hope you don't mind if i copy and paste some emails i sent out today, i wouldn't mind some feedback on them as i'm a novice to all this, and i'm feeling a bit concerned.

My name is scott ***** i'm 37 and live in cambridge uk and have been a fit and healthy man with no very little need for the doctors, but now i'm showing signs of morgellons, please let me explain - although i'm just typing it out as it comes, i hope you understand.

4 years ago i got a pair of boots from a homeless shelter i was going too - some days after that my feet became infected with little red itchy dots underneath the skin, there was quite alot of them, i would take the top off the skin and there would be a red hole underneath, i put bits of salt and drops of bleach into the holes, as i was thinking they were little bugs - what made me think they were bugs was because some would go away with a bit of salt and that would be that, but if i didn't mangage to kill of the bug, the same red spot would appear millimeters to the side of where i had attacked it.

I have battled contstantly with my method and i have the red dots undercontrol on my feet now, with only about 4 or 5 little red spots under the skin at any one time.

I hadn't gone to the doctor at this time about these dots as i thought i was winning.

about 2 years ago, i had a strange flu like virus, that came and went rapidly - i thought it was bird flu.

about 6 months later, i went to the doctors with really sore thyroid glands, i got some tablets and it went away.

about the same time, i was having weird things happening with my vision - strange blurs

for the past year i have been having heart palpitations and aches in my lower back, problems with my finger joints, sudden diarehha

I went to the doctor about a year ago, and told her about the red dots under my skin and i asked if it was scabies - she examined me and said no beacuse there was no tunneling, she gave me a salt wash and that was that.

In the last 6 months these red dots have spread to my forehead and behind my ears, always itching, and occaionally a small crystal will appear from one of them, this i thought was a sure sign it was a parasite, in my mind, and that the crystals were eggs. In the last 2 months i now have the red dots on my cheeks and around the edges of my hairline.

In the last week i have been looking at maybe a yeast infection, and have been talking online about rasing my ph.

but today has made me write to you, i read about morgellons aswell as 100's of other things on the internet, trying to find people with similar symptoms as myself - and i had heard of these fibres coming from the skin, but i had never experienced these fibres so i thought maybe not, but today, about an hour ago - i felt a hair just inside my nose, i grabbed it with my fingers as you do, and the weirdest sensation happened, the hair didn't pull like a hair would, it just slid out of my skin - i wasn't expecting it and what was left held tightly between my fingers was a really thin white fibre at over an inch long - it did the floaty thing aswell as i have seen on videos.

I have put it in a little box - because that thing was not normal.

anyway, i'm here sat trying not to scratch as usual - all byself, because in the last 6 months i have been acting weird with my friends and losing the plot with them and i have managed to isolate myself through my actions.

let me think of other things i think you should know....

in the last year, i have been getting more and more coldsores, barely do i get over one when another one comes, people have commented saying that i get alot of coldsores.

i also get bouts of fatigue in the middle of the day, like heavy bouts where i'm instantly drained

oh and a few weeks ago i got a sharp pain inbetween my chest for a few days.

that's about all of it.... oh no, over the last year, i have experienced brain fog and lack of concentration, i just put it down to gettin gold, people used to say i was mentally head strong, but now my brain feels whishy washy.

i read the symptoms on your website, and thereare many of them that are happening or have been happening to me, plus this fibre -i really am starting thinking this is what is happening to me.

anyway, i don't even know who you are or why i am writing this - and just to let you know, i'm not a strange attention seeking person, i have no wish to go the doctors for sympathy and i don't tell people about what i have been going though.

over the last 6 months i have noticed a marked weakness in my bladder, going from being able to pee from the other side of the room to a weak dribble.

sorry to keep writing but i keep reading and these are happening.

recently, in the last two months i have been having whoosh noises in my ears

and problems swallowing with my adams apple feeling like its out of place

more things - i have ridges and pits on my nails and a really big yellowy ridge on my big toe that appeared about a month ago.

i have been reading since i last wrote about people with chronic lymes disease and connection with morgellons.. well i have never been diagnosed with lymes but when i was about 11 i was diagnosed bellys palsy and about the same time a mysterious purple lump about the size of finger nail appeared on the top of my calf and has been there ever since.

could it be possible i have chronic lyme disease and morgellons is related to that?

i must also tell you that i have experienced long periods of homelessness and have a problem with my brain that has never been diagnosed eg: lyme rage?
