I can't figure out how to find the introductions page so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong place. I have been in denial but after spending the last several days researching I know I, along with my husband and two beautiful kids, have morgellons. We had a confirmed case of bird mites (bug sample sent to lab) in May. Since that time the symptoms have morphed into something almost beyond comprehension (well, you all understand but until you experience it you cannot know). Started with intense scalp itching, black specs everywhere on sheets, clothing, etc., lesions that wouldn't heal, fake hair, moving hair, "creepy crawlies," tingling in my problem areas, sand like grannuals in the skin, bumps and fibers (in my hair - I get them by using a comb, in our home, in our cars, in our clothing and now in the bathtub after I complete one of many different bathing protocols - shaped sometimes like an insect but I think they are just fibers). We live in a 5,000 sq ft home with vaulted ceilings throughout - although I follow cleaning protocols I cannot keep up. Of course, just like many of you, we have been to all the DR's since the beginning - first they said scabies by looking at us - then we had skin scapings & biopsies (no scabies but postive for arthropod assualt), then the bird mites were confirmed via a bug sample (given ivermectin & doxy and have done repeated doses), after that we allowed our PCO to spray many times (won't waste our $ or risk our health anymore). Even though we have protocols for laundry, bathing, etc. things seem to be progressing in a bad way. I think I am the worst - my kids don't have as many visable sores as they did when the mites were present but they do have the weird fake hairs - however, even when I see them scratching their skin they refuse to complain so I cannot really tell if they have any other symptoms. They just want our life back. They keep asking me if the bug are gone....and they want to know sweet simple things like "when we will be able to put the pillows back on the couch" and "can our stuffed animals come home?" I do have an appt with Ginger S. in March but I am not sure I can hold on. How do I keep this family together? What do I do about the kids? Do marriages survive this? The brain fog is the worst. I can barely speak sometimes.....I find myself wandering from room to room....I am still trying to work but it is nearly impossible at this point. Things that have helped have been few - borax in hair, kleen free in laundry, lint rollers, burning menthol crystals, diet (although if I loose any more weight I will be under 100 lbs - haven't been that weight since I was like 12 years old), cleaning like crazy, red wine (I know that sounds like an excuse but it literally makes my tingling go away when I have a glass). I am taking collodial silver, bioten, olive leaf, garlic pills and a sleeping med. Please - is there any hope? Also, we have considered moving. I know this is now within us but would moving to a new location help at all since the fibers wouldn't be all over (at least initially - however, we would loose basically our life savings to do this).....I would just love to hear from someone.....I can't stop thinking about our life before May and the bird mites (who I think were the carrier for this disease - although we live on a golf course so who knows what they are spraying) - while not perfect - it was pretty close.........

First off if you give me a room in that 5000 square foot home I will clean the Kitchen and my new room, must have Harley Davidson pictures all over it. Next do not worry so much about FANATIC cleaning, it is useless, you can not clean your enviroment, it is impossible. Concentrate more on the water you put in your body. Don't get me wrong, clean your home as you normally would, do not become MANIC. I did in the eart, work and clean up my old houses, swim in the ocean, and do so many other things, the drugs I take for blood pressure do more harm than eating fiberglass insulation, which I do not do, LOL. Pay attention to what you eat, eat fresh foods, stay away from fast foods and processed junk. there is much more you can do for yourself with your time then become a MANIC cleaner. But in case you do not listen and become so manic, you may come to my home and do a bit of cleaning, if you like!!!! LOL

hi, I am sorry to hear about you and your family. This is an awful disease and I too have said many times to myself about just wanting my life back. I have learned over the last few days that if you have a doctor that is willing to help you, then go. They are few and hard to find. Testing is very important. I myself haven't been able to do that, I have no insurance, therefor no doctor. Cleaning can be a real b----, huh? Don't run yourself ragged trying to get it all done. I learned on this website, take a section, or room and tackle it that way. Don't try to do it all at once. I am sorry I don't have more advice for you, but felt it was important to get back to you so you know that people are here and listening. Take a long hot bath with some tea tree oil, or eucalyptus, epson salts and take your glass of wine with you. Stress only makes our symptoms worse. Take care and read some of the postings here at this website for suggestions and support. Ghettogirl

Zenmorgie, Did I read that right? You've accomplished all of that just in the last few days since you started researching morgellons?? Holy cow. I've had it over a year and I haven't done a third of what you've accomplished. No wonder Baraka wants you to come clean his house! He's right; you need to stop being so manic. It will take time for things to get better so take a deep breath and relax. Stressing out won't help and it will make the symptoms so much worse. There are lots of helpful people here to support you and give you ideas.

First thing I've laughed about in a long time.... You get an honorary room - complete with Harley posters and maybe even the iconic Farah poster just for good measure. The house was our big investment idea - before the bubble burst - can't bear the thought of leaving it....not sure it would help anyway. I will try to not be too crazy regarding the cleaning.....it's just I am always worried it's the one thing I don't manage to get done that's going to cause things to go from bad to worse. I literally stay awake (even after my sleeping meds) and run through my mental list (couches wiped down - check, kids uniforms ironed - check, spray bathub - check)....I am sure that sounds crazy but I just don't have a good enough handle on what's happening to us right now. Hopefully Dr. S. will be able to run some detailed tests and we'll get some kind of internal protocol down. Thanks for responding!

Sojii - sorry I didn't make myself more clear - brain fog is worst at night....I put protocols in place when the entomology lab gave the id for birdmites - lots of the cleaning/laundry/skin care ideas are the same....on the birdmite sites there is always talk of morgellons...but I just couldn't totally go there 100% until now. Maybe I've just held onto the thought it was still most likely only mites because then there might (mite be a small hope that we could eventually get rid of them - (cleaning, pco chemicals, vikane gas, ivermectin & other meds).....and I guess the other part of this is initally we didn't have some of the symptoms we currently present with - seems to have changed over time....I guess at some point the mites left and the morgellons took over (which I guess happens to many bird mite folks)...or maybe the mites are still here along with the morgellons....anyhow, thanks for responding. I've got lots to learn. And cleaning to do . Kidding.

Ghettogirl, Thank you for reaching out. I am gonna grab that glass of wine....I am sorry that you haven't been able to access the testing. It is crazy expensive - I am grateful to still be working at this point but not sure how much longer that will last. I think there should be some kind of fund where people could donate $ and treatment items (I've got a cedarcide fogger and lots and lots of other crazy stuff that didn't work for me but might work for someone else....and it's just sitting around collecting dust (and fibers ).....wishing you a peaceful night!

I want to stress the eating well, just that one thing means more than all day cleaning. Blenders, juicers, unrefined coconut oil, to cook and flavor food, probiotics (keifer) and so many other good things. One last thing, the poster of the female actress, i really like Audrey Hepburn, if that isn't asking too much. LOL. You may look into a zapper, they are inexpensive you can get them on ebay, mine is a 3 frequency, if you goodle it or search on ebay, hulda clark zapper, that should tell you and show you what it is. I am getting a water distiller next, a good one. all glass.

I was ready to off myself after 4 years of suffering with Lyme disease as well as this morgelons and I suffered all of your symptoms as well as sweating burning glitter and alopecia. my husband ordered 2 books from Amozon.. THE GERSON THERAPY and HEALING THE GERSON WAY. This man was curinc ALL diseases including MS and cancer within 3 weeks 45 years ago with nutrition alone !!!! The government poisonrd him and he healed himself! hahahaa!! but they poisoned him again and he succumbed. Fortunatly his daughter was his adid aid in this process and she wrote the books. I have been on the Therapy a few weeks and I am out shopping, socializing, and enjoying my life again. THAT QUICKLY! I have spent a fortune on every foolish product and remedy out there. 2 books. Thats all it took. Oh, and some fresh organic veggies and fruits and a Juicer. Also had to get used to doing organic coffee enemas every night. The recipe is in the book. Easy sneezy. Those saved my liver and kidneys. Worth every $40.00 I spent. ![]()
