New clinical trial network for Infectious diseases meeting On March 7, join in the conversation as NIAID hosts a public town hall meeting in Bethesda, Md., to discuss the development of a new clinical trials network focused on infectious diseases other than HIV/AIDS. This will be the second town hall meeting NIAID has hosted on the restructuring of its clinical trials networks. The first meeting, held Oct. 26, 2010, examined the current and potential future directions of the institute’s HIV/AIDS clinical trial networks. The new public meeting will explore how NIAID may use its clinical trials infrastructure to create a new research network for the larger infectious diseases community. The March 7 town hall will be held at the Bethesda Marriott, 5151 Pooks Hill Road, Bethesda, Md. Registration information and other information concerning the upcoming meeting will be made available soon.
