Update on DVT and PE

When I first began treatment for DVT and PE I began with Lovenox home shots and Warfarin.

After taking 3 shots and Warfarin my level was good. It needs to be between 2-3. Below 2 is too thick and above 3 is too thin. So they changed dosage of Warfarin and no mre shots and another INR in 4 days. Blood too think so they increased Warfain dosage. Next INR in 3 days and blood too thick and changed Warfarin dosage again.

Mon, the 10th of Jan. I went in for another INR. INR is a test for blood thickness. Blood still too thick so I had to begin the Lovenox shots at home again. After 3 days my INR result was 1.9. Now I have to give myself shots for 4 more days, 1 x day, and Warfarin dosage adjusted.

I have a strange feeling that M is involves in the thickness of my blood and that the Warfarin alone is not going to do it. I guess if this is the case and I got to reoeat is, it will give the Dr. somt things t think about such as why they can't get my blood thinned out and keep it there on Warfarin like most patients

btw, the injections are totally painless. I shove this needle in my abdomen and never feel it. It burns a tad bit after but that's nothing unbearable.

A year ago my blood was so thick that when I cut my head while working on an automobile it could not bleed.% stitches but no blood.My blood is much thinner now and I will have the results from my new blood work in about 2 wks.My BP has also improved greatly.It's the ear ringing that I would like to go away.
