well, ty hummingbird. yes i am gonna get all my ducks in a row. get disability. where i live, my state allows medical marijuana. gues what, have a packet to try to see if get, pay 150 bucks, but so what. doctor makes a recommendation (not prescription, but recommendation) and the end result can carry card says you may have this for treatment. i am no druggie, but i hate artificial pils. i had hydrocodone number 10's did nothing except make me nauseous. well, gonna give it a shot if can have legal, see no harm. i am thinking of getting attorney to sue the hospital mistreated me. i figure take the lemons dealt, make lemonade if can. why not? i am going to cut a path six feet wide for my friends in here if can. i am tired of the suffering. we shall beat this, (LC).

LC Congrats on getting a real diagnosis!! That's really terrific and such a relief!! I'm glad you're doing so well also. Sounds like you're making huge progress!

Freeman, I searched for a holistic doc in my area and found one that not only had seen two previous patients presenting symptoms of morgellons, but he was glad to learn about any treatment protocols and was happy to help me. Of course he's "out of network" from my insurance plan so I had to pay him directly out of pocket, but it was worth it to start treatment with no travel. He hasn't done blood any work though, which Dr H does, so I'll still need to follow up with that. I'm on the waiting list to be called by Dr H and when I talk to them I'll decide if I drive up to see him or ask my doc to consult with him.

I found the holistic doc by searching my state on this site..

Also, if you have a chronic disease clinic in your area, they may have heard of morgellons and be more open to treatment options or Dr to Dr consultation.

Hope you find some one to help your healing.

LC, I also agree on the medical marijuana. My first doc gave me an antidepressant, I took it, but stopped shortly, because I didn't like what it did. A friend gave me something to smoke and that was much more effective. I don't think a lot of use is good, but there is a reason it is used medically, and if it helps a morgellons sufferer then it should be available as a medical option. Good luck!
