i just had a look through a magnifying glass and every single surface in my home is covered in fibres. they can't all be coming out of my body so they must be reproducing outside of me. i guess this is all well known to you guys but it is all new to me. i feel completely invaded and totally overwhelmed and don't really know where to start. i can barely walk because the M's have got into nerve damage in my leg. i feel optimistic about it getting better because the rest of my body is doing okay. but i need to rest my leg, so it heals... not do manic cleaning. and it's night time now and i don't want to go to sleep because i'll just breath in the fibres. i have a sore throat and i thought it was because of detoxing, but i now think it's because of constantly breathing in fibres. there aren't all that many in my bed and so it never occurred to me that the whole of my home would be covered. - what do you do about books? throw them away? i don't really have any cupboards. - do lavender and peppermint oil actually kill the critters? i don't have enzymes yet - just ordered them but they will take a while to get to the uk - i have a weird hoover and can't buy hoover bags in the shops, so i have ordered some over the internet but they won't arrive till next week. is there anything i can put in the hoover bag for now to stop them from getting out or kill them in the bag?) - i also have these almost invisible flies. this is what bit me so much in cyprus and now they are back home with me. i just catch one out of the corner of my eye. any ideas what kills them? - and has anyone tried wintergreen oil? when i thought i had fleas i found out that it's the only thing that kills flea eggs. i wasn't sure whether to share or not after the vile reception i have had from some people here. if you have something horrible to say to me, please just keep it to yourself. because right now i can't handle it. but i do need the support of this forum because this is much harder than i had anticipated. sapphire

Not all fibres are M. Even if they are M related this event is not a sudden issue... it tends to build up. Straight white vinegar 5% or better yet the 9% seems to be very effective at cleaning. I add a few drops of essential oils especially lavander and put it in a spray bottle. The vinegar smell disappears when it dries. Some use it topically too. I like the gallon concentrates of KleenGreen. It is expensive but dilutes down to eight gallons which is very reasonable. This can be used topically or to clean your home... just clean as normal... spray down with the vinegar mix or enzymes and air dry... other surfaces may be sprayed and wiped but air drying is best. Check vents and filters around the house, they may need to be replaced or cleaned. Stay calm. Dont assume that this is anything other that a long overdue house cleaning... this may not be M related. Xib I have used nontoxic diatomaceous earth mixed with water in a quart sized garden sprayer. The type with the pump to pressurize. Remove the small plastic filter that is on the intake hose part of the pump... just pull it off. The ratio is 25% DE to 75% water or better yet enzymes or vinegar. Pump and shake it often. Set the nozzle for a medium mist. This leaves a very fine film of DE where ever sprayed. Practice outside or in a garage first as this can be messy. The mess can be wiped up with a wet towel though... easily enough. This may show as a white residue on darker fabrics but with a little practice a light misting will leave an effective film and not a mess. I've used this before when I thought there where arthropod infested areas in my home. especially around baseboards... furniture and mattress(after cleaning and wrapping it in plastic sheeting.) not too sure about it's effectiveness on fibers/fibres. If it clogs while spraying just open the nozzle wide open to clear then reset to a medium mist. A box fan speeds up drying time. Last edited by xiblanque; December 3rd, 2010 at 10:30 PM.

It's only a temporary comfort measure, but any kind of diffused essential oil will help. The droplets help to clean the air of debris, no matter what it is, and make stuff too heavy to float. Peppermint oil discourages swarming and biting. However, if your throat or respiratory system are already irritated, breathing essential oils for very long will exacerbate it.

thank you to everyone who sent me supportive and helpful messages. i have now done a very basic clean up of my space, but i live in quite an old house with lots of nooks and crannies in the wooden floors and skirtings... so it's never going to be perfect here. the next shock is that what i thought was veins in my feet is actually blue fibres at differnet stages of emergence. some closer to the surface, some more deeply buried. i find it incredible that the disease can take over so fast. i am telling myself that perhaps it is a good thing that all the fibres are coming out, because i am detoxing, but i have no idea if that is wishful thinking. surprisingly i feel more accepting of it all today. my life feels totally out of control, but perhaps we always are out of control and just think we're not. i'm going to go back to my regime now. bye for now sapphire

Wow! You've done your whole house since your first email? Could you come do mine? It takes me several days to do my apartment. But then I'm lazy and move really slow... ![]()

| Danza, dittos!! Re; post in regards to God. In our future world we will not have this. I am a Christian, and it is my faith and only my faith in Jesus Christ which has kept me from suicide. God IS stronger than mycoplasma or any manipulation mankind has done to God's creation/s.
