| Met a woman a month or so ago while out at a blues club doing a little dancing. Somehow during our conversation the word morgellons came up and to my surprise she not only had heard of it she was rather knowledgeable about it, possibly the first time I had met someone in person that could actually carry on a conversation about morgellons. Then she proceeds to tell me that she is a Shaman, a channel between here and .......................wherever, spirits, other worlds, demons and the like. I was intrigued, could this meeting between her and I have been more than coincidence, I can't help but wonder if maybe I was suppose to met her, for spiritual guidance, God knows I certainly need guidance right now. So guess what happens next, yep I proceed to tell her all about the sponge theory, it's a thing of mine, meet me in person and I'll talk your ear off about sponges, and with a passion like a preacher. So she gets out her pendulum and performs a little dowsing and tells me that the spirits say I'm absolutely correct about the sponge (it was nice to get confirmation but I already knew I was right) ![]() So we've kept in touch and exchanged a few phone calls since that night, I just got off the phone with her a few minutes ago, she wanted to let me know that she was contacted by an extraterrestrial race of beings that told her how to kill the sponge, they said quinine in conjunction with Infrared light Just wanted to pass this on and see what comes back, we already know Infrared has it's benefits, anyone know anything about quinine other than it's use for treating malaria? | But Steve! You hate Dr. Hildy and infrared is her first line of defense! Quinine has been known through out the ages to treat Malaria. What's up with the sponge? Not being offensive... I don't get the connection. Unless you met a babe who is rockin' your world.... I am all in for that! Best wishes. |

As far as your question about what's with the sponge and not getting the connection, I'm not sure what your asking. Are you not familiar with the sponge theory lamb? As far as finding a babe to rock my world, highly doubtful, seemed to have lost interest in women ever since I was giving the job of exposing the sponge. |

| I have used the herb quinine briefly. At the time I was also using far infrared sauana treatment as well as treatment with a lymph machine. I am still here and this did not cure me. However if you have the dermal form of lupus this may work assuming what CD3girls said. She was using a medicinal type of quinine called plaquenil: One word: plaquenil She has not posted in awhile so hopefully she continues to be well. I tried to get my doctor to test me for this form of lupus recently but all I got was "this doesn't like like that." I would have like to do the test just to rule it in or out, but you know doctors. Anyway Steve I thought you might find this discussion of interest. Here's what an old time doctor (Scudder) says about the herb: Quinine. | Henriette's Herbal Homepage

| I do not have the link so I can't link back to what I am about to say. However, I read at Marc's site from Marc's news updates that Infra-red was a waste of money. I will try to find the article I have. I have USBs full of M info and a lot from Marc. Marc has worked with this M extensively and now he has the Germany Lyme Disease Clinic on his side. I am not discounting what others say about Infra-red, but maybe what doesn't work for one works for another. Now, I hope I worded this all correctly so as not to offend anyone. I certainly am not trying to. I consider everyone's info as food for thought and discussion. One of the super things about MDR is all the info members bring here which they have found. Some day we are going to do our usual link click to MDR and we are going to see/read a HAPPY post; HAPPY being the absolute real cause of M (without a doubt) will be posted. Soon to be followed by cure or tx for remission.

| That's interesting Kat. Did you notice any dramatic change if you had lesions? Or any other positive effects, like the brown discolorations of the skin improving if you had any? I am not sure whether or not you had any of these skin symptoms as I know some don't. Also it would appear CD3girls was just taking plaquenil so I wonder if it might have also been taken at higher dose than a person on other drugs as well as the plaquenil. It would be difficult I guess to know what medications were doing what when you are on different drugs at the same time.

| Hi Steve, We know morgies get muscle spasms, cramps and arthritic pain. Quinine is often prescribed for cramps and arthritis here in the uk. Quinine was first line of treatment for malaria. Of course it also helps prevent malaria via repelling mosquitoes. I'm fairly sure it repells similar diptera. I'll also add that at least two species of Anisopodidae (mosquitoe) larvae can cause myiasis infestations of human intestine and bladder. Just bringing my research area to the table Steve, in case its useful. jo xx |

| Steve... Maybe getting rid of all of that hate that you feel will make you less stressed. There is no one perfect solution for this nightmare, we are not all the same. Maybe you and the sponge need have a "time out". ![]() I am joking around, glad I can do that again now. best wishes |
