Default amazing find
Found this very interesting, maybe all of you will as well. I receive Baltimore magazine every month. This month it covers Balto best doctors. and a story on each one. Dr neal naff is top neurosurgeon at st Joes. A 69 year old woman comes in too emergency and is in a seizure. brain scans are done and they find abnormal that look like a tumor she undergoes brain surgery .The growth was cystic in naure with geltin inside and when he opened it you could see objects in there I had only read about this he says in text books a parasite disease. They sent it too pathology a nd it was confirmed it was a worm known as echinococosis or sheephearders disease. As a child she grew up on a sheep farm in greece. The good thing she was treated they suspect she got it form contaminated meat or handling sheep. guess it was dormat al those years. you can view the entire article on Baltimore magazine nov issue. sammy

Apparently it always makes a cyst in humans and it can grow for decades, fluid-filled. The cyst info's on this page:
