About a year ago I bought a set of Dark red flannel sheets from walmart. They sat unopened until a few months ago. I finally get them out and put onto bed along with pillow cases. For the next four nights I sweated cold sweats. After the first night I start seeing red fibers with the bundle at end. Day 2 there are even more of them and about half of the soft blue fibers that I get from comb are also red,On day four there are so many red fibers on sheets that I take them off and wash them. Fast forward two weeks/ I take a salt bath and soak for about an hour. I dry off put on jeans no shirt and start computing, Within 5 minutes I look down at my chest and belly, I am covered in red fibers. I repeat the bath the next morning and same thing except just one of me sides is covered. Fastforward a couple more weeks. I put on a black shirt also purchased from walmart. After a salt bath there are black fibers covering my belly and chest. Thoses sheets and shirt have been tossed. Whatever is up with GMO Cotton its alive. THeses fibers would proabally stayed in me and kept growing if not for having taken the salt bathes. I will never buy cotton products from walmart ever again. I have a cigrette making machine I drop in a little tobacco and crank a handle and the machine puts the paper and filter on.Now I,m afraid to touch the tobacco Last edited by JimDoe; September 19th, 2010 at 11:47 AM.

Fuzzy things like flannel and anything fabric from WalMart have been crawly for me since day 1. Even soft rayon gets crawly but at least it washes / dry cleans out. Get rid of flannel sheets. Don't use anything fabric from WalMart. Kohl's is a problem, too. Don't use any cotton or natural fibers that come from China or Bangladesh (check the label; if it's from WalMart, it was made in China or Bangladesh). Switching to polyester sheets and blankets helped me a lot. Satin seems to be best and they're nice to sleep on. Penney's catalogue and online store has had them on sale for ages. Polyester blankets. Somebody here said they'd had good luck with acrylic blankets, too.

Certianly, I first started just using plain old table salt about a half a box and at least an hour soak dives bugs crazy and they leave eventually. Then one day at walmart when I was getting garden supplies I saw a 40lb bag of Pool Salt, was less than 6$ . Sometimes I use 5 lbs sometimes 10lbs. Salt has a calming effect on the nervous syatem and greatly releives the itching and biting feelings. Salt is a great detoxifer for drawing out just about everything. If you get a splinter soaking the area in salt warter for 20 minutes will usually remove it. I had splinter in finger soaked if for 30 minutes . Splinter was still there but abter 10 minutes when the skin began drying out it popped right out. Amazing!

I completly forgot to mention socks. I bought 25 pair of black socks from a thrift store several months ago. They were new and in a box. 25 cents a pair, could not turn it down. Well after salt bathes I can actually see black fibers pop out of skin on feet and in between toes. Never feel thm exit but sure do see them.

| id definatly stop shopping at walmart, i goto kmart sometimes, probbly not a huge difference though.but i smell clothes, if they smell anything but brand new, i aint buying it. i NEVER EVER buy from trift stores, not clothes or bedsheets, jim, have you tried alergy mattress covers? the kind that zip? they make pillow covers too. i have them, they work very well for keping buggys out of your mattress.we all know mattresses, no matter where you get them, get really nasty really fast.this makes them last a bit longer. for clothes stores, we have susies casuals, nothing over $5 thats where i shop. obviously, fashion is not my strong point..lol

One thing about the salt baths is that dumping alot of salt(brine) water in a SEPTIC tank (for those in rural areas),,,,will kill a septic pretty fast,,causing it to eventually fail.(Big mess!!) We accidentally killed ours one time(when we first moved here),,with just the little bit of bleach, that was coming from the washer(clothes). We capped, and plugged the washer drain line,,and ran a separate field line,,for the washer..Problem solved.. As you may know,,,bleach breaks down to salt water over time,,so run separate field lines away from trees..the salt will kill trees too if enough gets at the roots.. Also another sourse of salt is ice cream rock salt(you have to dissolve it in a pot of hot water to add to bath),,when summer season is over(walmart puts away the pool salt and is unavailable at most stores during winter),,,,but Attwoods,,Tractor supply,,and feed stores carry it(unproccessed bag salt) during winter months and is cheap from these sources too. I bought a salt lick(for cows) from Atwoods,,that is made entirely from UN-processed salt,,molasses,,and sulphur.(the yellow cube) They also have the unsulfured.(white cube) You have to read the ingredients(side panel of block) to make sure,,it has just the 2 or 3 ingredients(depending if you want sulphured) I broke off a piece for use,and have the rest carefully stored,,as a chunk goes a long way. I take a small(bean sized) piece for consumption every now and then,,especially on hot sweltering days(when ya sweat alot) Its a good source of proper salt(and sulphur),,once you have cut all the salt saturated processed foods from your diet...sounds weird,,but works.. After seeing all the cotton nematodes in the "new" clothing,,(especially socks),,,I bake all my new clothing in the oven(with oven off,but heated of coarse) or out in the outdoor pizza oven we made... Just wrap in foil like a roast,,,and bake.....seems to take the life out of em pretty well...5 million degrees!!!! Take that!! Ha!!
