Target Store Brand Scar Gel

Most scar gels are very expensive. Taget's store brand is $8. a tube, 3/4 of an ounce but it spreads far and easy.

This stuff really helps to get the wiggly things off (out of) your skin. I know they are wiggly because I hold them with a tweezers over a 10x magnified mirror and the end wiggles. It can be seen even without the mirror.

The ingredients are:

Water
PEG-200
Allium Fistulosum Bulb Extract
Xanthan Gum
Allium Cepa Extract
Allontoin
Fragrance
Methylparaben
Sorbic Acid

I realize parabens and other stuff are not good for us but the way this stuff is working I will keep using it. Maybe I'll be sorry someday but if a person can't get Dr. help, what do you do? The best you can do on your own I guess. I think it is a travesty against everyone who gets treated by the medical society as M patients do.

You can feel this tightening on your skin and as well you can feel the "things" move. Maybe the moving is them coming to surfave because I can ver easily pull them off with tweezers and see the thing wiggle.

I just now put Allium Fistulosum Bulb Extract in Google and it looks like it is green onions. Got to do more research on this. Or if anyone knows about it I would be interested to read info.

and thank Posey for taking her time to share her knowledge, what you have suggested is somthing I would be interested in trying, I do not know if I have any wiggley things BUT I want to shrink my scars, that would be great, Thank you for taking your time to help others with your suggestion. YOUR GREAT!!

I am going to TARGET today, this is just what the doctor..........well i do not usually take anything anymore that the doctor ordered i have not found it to alleviate anything, it looks like what others here suggest works better.

Thanks Posey, I was using the stuff that melts away the thick foot callus sold by Walmarts, it does not work that well.

How about a song to commemorate my friend Posey, its called You are My Sunshine. Really my friend that is one of the only things left for me to do, melt away the white scars, still they are almost gone, but it takes forever to melt them. BIG HELP if it works.

I also use a rough rag made to scrub the body made from bamboo, they are great don't loose their course aspects after use.

I hope you have good results with this stuff. I have been putting it on, on and off, all day. These things just rise to surface when I put it on; even places which may look OK. I even get some up there in my noses and it get them out there also.

A few times I wiped it off before putting more on, but 2 or 3 times whenever I feel a tickle I plaster more on. These things are truly more than skin deep.

When I gently pull with a tweezers, I most often get a sheet or part of the film with it, and it is a film and not the gel I put on. It's easy to differentiate that.

I wish I could do my entire body but my 8 tubes I bought Friday would be all gone. The stuff does spread a long way though.

It's the Welsh onion; it doesn't produce a bulb and sits partially below ground.
It's thought to have anti-inflammatory properties but that hasn't been proven, does temporarily tighten the skin and the powder is used in Chinese medicine.

I'm going to try it; thanks! I'd found an antibacterial hand cleanser gel from a ladies' bath products line that would make the film come off and the white things come out as soon as you rub it in, but they've changed the product and the new one isn't in stores here yet. I emailed them to see if the formulation is basically the same, will post with the name if they respond affirmatively. No other hand cleanser gel or even straight alcohol has worked this way.

It is very inexpensive compared to the other brand, half price.

I hope it works as well for anyone who trys it, as it does for me.

I have a big heap of junk that came off my face and scalp yesterday. I have a child's $20. microscope thing and I am going to look at it a little closer today. I'm sure some of what comes off is the scar gel, but it brings with it the crap that is on/in me. I got long (2 inch) pieces and it is very visible the things that are in it. I can actually see how this stuff creates a web, or maze. It did not hurt in my nose either and I was able to peel it off (or out) with the fibers and things in it.

When I took my scarf of, the things were actually standing up on my head. I use a rat tail comb to scrape scalp. It seems to work well. Sometimes I use a small parring knife.

I missed a PM when I was here yesterday so gotta go check that out now.

I wonder iif a person could come up with a concoction of their own with onions. Mat be even cheaper yet.

btw, I had an aunt who all her life ate an onion a day, (just like an apple) along with a can of beer a day and she was always in pretty good health until old age got her.

Posey, your aunt story reminds me of my mother who was from rural Arkansas. She ate onions like apples, too. And lemons.
