Default I,ve noticed for past two days

that there are folks here who are still plagued by bugs. I happened across a wonderful doctors web site about a year back, I wish now I had booked marked it,she told a person that had asked her about stings and itching. Her response was the the nervous sysyem builds up an alegric reation and can cause stinging and ithing and that salt bathes will calm this reaction, Its not about Deadsea salt and its not about ebsom salts. its about salt peroid. It works and it will drive out bugs quicker than any doc perscribed meds ever will. But it takes effort to take a two hour soak several times.I understand some peoples fear that the bugs will come out and reattach eleswhere. But I just don,t see it. If a bug leaves you because of salt being toxic to this bug why would it try and go back in again, not even bugs are that stupid.Try this experiment go outside and find a slug or earthworm and pour salt on it and see what happens. It will draw up pour out its fluids and die. Bugs hate salt.10 cups of salt for a 2 hour soak dunking head as often as you can will bug free you.
Just a link about ebsom salt, but remember its about the salt, nothing fancy, just salt.Salt won,t cure morgs, but it will bug free you.You need relief, Bugs had me suicidal at one point, real suicidial.I had even started a 90 day countdown.

Salt water in a spray bottle works well, if you spray it on over & over.

I need to try this again myself.

Default Yes

This is a ood idea Jim, I am not SCARED of salt, bathing or your idea.

Then again should I take precaution, should I wonder because of my high blood pressure that I will absorb so much salt when getting into a tub full of it that my body will absorb so much I will die, hmmm, maybe people should not soak in salt, maybe it is a bad idea. hmm

be nice now, its funny because i remember it was something the boys did at school to put salt of bugs, and watch them die..but i like the spray bottle thing, im definalty gonna have to buy some salt. i cant take a bath becasue i cant fit in the tub, no fat jokes, please, my mom bought that tub for her and she was a tiny woman.i have sat in our hot tub with epsom salts, but now the hot tubs broke... when it rains it pours, right?
i do like jims idea about the salt, i wanted to ask, does salt dicolor or hurt carpet? we got new carpets and i sure dont want to wreck them
oh, i wanted to add, i DONT want them in me, in fact the only time i can keep the scars from getting bad is to do what i call 'monkey grooming' where you take them out with tweezers

I sprinkled table salt over all my carpets and furniture and bed it never hurt anything yet, I did it to drive the springtail and fleas out of my house that kept getting into my skin. I read on some site that using salt in you laundry will brighten the colors of your clothes, It did,Especially dark solid colered clothes. I,d still be careful though since I don,t really know. WHen I get out of bath I always get salty water on carpet. Has not hurt anything yet.

I wasn,t trying to be mean about people not bathing. I totally understand the fear of bugs spreading from bath, I just reallly don,t think it happens. Its never happened to me. At this point i,ve proabally taken hunders of salt bathes. I had at one time so many springtail and fleas Iiving in my scalp at least mnay hunderds maybe even thousands. After one salt bath I put on my helmet and went to store .When I go back and took off helmet a danged thrip flew out of helmet. Salt in laundry won,t make old clothes look new but it did brighten them some,Ditto on blue jeans.

Oh you can buy 40lb bags of pool salt from walmart for about 5$. I get it from garden section. Bag lasts me a month. Home depot and lowes I,ve benn told carry it also. Poolsalt has been purified. Though plain table salt works just as well.

Default Your suggestion

Jim your suggestion is one i would try, it is inexpensive and well thought out, I have said before, be careful to the people with CHINESE bathtubs it will rot them out like tomorrow, it did mine.

I said also I like your idea so much i am thinking of putting an antique tub in my yard with a fire under it to keep the water hot, sort of like a hillbilly sauna, LOL.

I know it can not be used in my Chinese made tub. Older AMERICAN tubs will not be affected for a long timeas they are THICK.

I read before about a man that used a antique tub that had lost its enamel, he actually said that the rust, in the water CURED his skin, I forget who he was but really can't dispute his claim as I have not done this myself.

I would wonder thoug if the iron did affect the skin lesions becasue of his insistance. its a shot in the dark but what else do wwe have at this point. ehhh
