| It has been 2 yrs since I first discovered what was going on with me. However, I haven't yet developed sores on my body. Is there anyone else here who has not gotten the lesions? I realize I can still get them but I am wondering if there is any pattern as to how this disease progresses. I read a lot about people having Lyme Disease before M. I got Lyme when my skin was doing it's dramatic change from me to someone much older. I had disseminated Lyme.

| Posey, I haven't gotten them either, just a lot of small red spots that look like blood but don't bleed. I asked the other day if these eventually turn into lesions, but didn't get an answer. It sounds like there might even be different versions. I became symptomatic at the end of last October; I don't know how long I might have already had it - I suspect longer. I've often wondered if I'm in a very early stage and if somebody ought to be studying me going forward! Also, coming up on a year, I'm beginning to feel crawly again and it's been such a nice quiet summer. Am wondering if it's an annual cycle and mine are most active between fall and spring. |

| I realy think you people who have never had lesions have a stronger immune system than the rest of us. Do you have just the fibers and the black specs and the other crazzy stuff comming out of your skin? |

| Janice, no lesions. I have several kinds of fibers on scalp, found tiny tightly-wound fiber "cacoons" there at first, which to the naked eye looked grey but under magnification were made up of red, blue, black & white thread-like material. Because they seemed grey and I felt crawly, I thought I'd caught head lice initially and treated for it repeatedly. I also found insect parts in my hair, which freaked the crap out of me because I'm bug-phobic and a clean person and because my hair had been my best feature. When I used an electric lice comb, it would come away after one swipe covered in tiny, shiny white "hairs". The bug parts didn't last long, thank God, and I developed a sticky film on scalp, face, back, palms of hands and feet, and rear and crawliness in the same areas. I began to feel stinging sensations, have this shiny iridescent-goldish fine hair on my face around my hairline, find black specks on me and in my environment, hard salt-like things and "glitter" on my clothing and white things started coming out of my pores, especially around my eyes and in my nose. Sometimes I would have a mild allergic respiratory reaction to them. My hair started changing - or being replaced. I've lost probably 1/3 of my hair. I have the same kind of strange hairs on my arms that are on my head - bent at weird angles and they move. The hair on my head stands straight up sometimes or sticks out at a 90 degree angle, which looks pretty silly when you have hair below your shoulders. When an eyelash or hair comes out, it has a whitish goop where the root should be. When the new kind of hair comes out, there is no root, just a black bulb and it doesn't hurt when it's pulled. The new eyelashes will grow until I cut them or they come out. They get ridiculously long. Removing the sticky film as much as possible has helped with the crawliness and stinging. I have red spots, or actually a huge increase; I've had the red spots for years. Also a huge increase in skin tags and skin tumors. Occasionally a pimple like thing I just put Neosporin on. Bugs love me; I'm regularly attacked by bees and flies. Just to be really weird, regular textile fibers in my apartment also tend to stick out at 90 degree angles. I walked into the bathroom one day - this is so bizarre - and an 8-inch piece of thread had been pulled from a towel at one end; it was "floating" straight out in the air, still attached to the towel at the other end, and parallel with the floor. Nothing shocks me anymore. That's one of the symptoms of Morgellons - NOTHING SHOCKS ME ANYMORE...but no lesions. |

| Hey everyone! I do believe from personal experience and unfortunately now from watching my chidren go thru this they def are part of our disease.and these bumps are the beginning formations of lesions and yes you should do whatever you can to keep them at bay! i've had this for many years and can backtrack my symptoms since i was very young.i still believe its main foundation is our scalps even if you don't feel it now its there its just extremely deep-rooted and takes many years to show its ugly face the pimples i believe are the beginning formations of lesions and i should know! i've been fighting these things for a few yrs now every day! i just don't know how to kill it without proper help. my face, arms torso legs and feet were loaded with these although i had no idea to what extent until recently.i am truly amazed as to how they had gone unoticed for all these yrs.the key is to not let it build! stay strong and keep fighting them the more you remove the better start at the top and work your way down.it does get better. Best Wishes!! Robin |

| Well, I have no hair. Whatever is growing on my scalp I keep shaved off. My hair would have comma shaped tiny hairs on them and my hair would move. They would stand up on top and sway back and forth. It wasn't static. B4 I knew I had M, I colored my hair to see if that would kill whatever was moving on my head. It didn't; but the weird thing is that the M hair did not color. They stayed White and diseased hair would be twisted around hair. When I bought a 10x magnified mirror and got a close look at my scalp, that is when I decided my hair had to go. I could wash it and all this debris was still there, as well as all over my home from falling off of me. Right now I think they are all diseased on my head. I also have the red dots on me. Don't itch or anything. If it is due to Immune System being a bit stronger, well, just maybe I should throw out th cigs. because they affect Immune System. I have the film throughout my whole body. Have gotten a lot off my head. But you know what? I'm getting awfully tired of this.
